Wow, I'm really starting to slack anymore. Since I have last posted:
- I did end up having to attend the deposition. It was a huge waste of my time, although at least I was still paid. Judging by the questions I was asked, if this is what is being taught in law school, good God. The best part was when her attorney asked me what day of the week did the accident happen and I said a Friday. Kind of threw all of the attorneys in a tizzy. Apparently the accident report had the day before. I'm unsure of a lot of things but I'm 99.99% sure that ice storm happened on a Friday, even came home that day and pulled up weather archives, which said freezing rain happened on Friday January 10th. Now the date could have been an honest mistake on her part. But someone else wasn't doing their research and fact checking. I even went back to previous posts on here and sure enough, it definitely sounded like it happened on a Friday.
- The tooth behind my root canaled one was starting to really give me trouble a few weeks again. I ended up having to have another root canal. Yay me. I had it done at another office this time. Apparently my dental office doesn't refer to the other place anymore. Not sure why, but I'd certainly like to know. The dentist at first seemed hesitant on doing it because I suck so much at describing my symptoms but once he went in the tooth, he said oh I definitely would have needed it at some point. Pretty sure I heard him say I had irreversible pulpitis. And he confirmed the crack in my tooth. I was pretty annoyed though when he looked at my x-rays and said one of my canals in my first root canaled tooth wasn't fully filled and he wants to keep an eye on it. Why was it not done properly in the first place? It wasn't like some general dentist did it, an endodontist did it. It should have been done properly! And if there was an issue, then I should have been told about it, although for all I know, I very well could have been, but since I could barely understand a word she said, who knows?
And that's really been it. Not much has changed. A month later, I'm still feeling blue from the holidays, I still wish I'd get hit by a tractor trailer on the way to work. There are just no words to describe how much my coworkers get under my skin. And this manager needs a reality check. I don't how the fuck she's ever had managerial positions before, because she's a piss poor excuse for one. I can understand having good relations with your employees, but she is way too fucking chummy with people. Especially my FWA. Again- I really and truly don't understand how anyone tolerates my FWA. Even just sitting there doing nothing I want to punch her in the face.
It's weird- I feel so goddamn stupid all of the time and my job makes me feel really inadequate and yet I feel like I deserve better. I basically feel like I'm lowering myself and settling working in this office. There's no kind of incentive in that office. No promotions, no ladder, nothing. And despite how stupid I feel, I feel like I can, and should, make something much better of myself.
I've been following the Weather Channel off and on today, because even though it doesn't affect my area, I'm interested in following the severe weather coverage. All the years I've been reading the Storm Prediction Center, I think only two or three (give or take, I can't remember) times I've seen a high risk day. Especially in the winter months. And I know the last time I was on there, all three of the tornado watches that were in affect were PDS. Scary, scary shit.
And one more thing- after this weekend, I'm so proud of my gender, despite the fact that it's 2017 and we should not have to be marching demanding equality and rights. I also love how on Facebook every single time I see someone criticizing the women's marches, it's always a man.

Random Thoughts
Had the Reeses peanut butter cup pie Blizzard last night. It's pretty much worth the 810 calories.
My anxiety levels have been terrible since my last post. Saturday morning, my brain had just woken up, eyes not even open yet, and my heart was already pounding like there was no tomorrow. It is the worst feeling when your heart is pounding and then you start getting anxious, thus making it pound even harder. The minute I climbed out of bed, my heart started to pound even harder. And it had been doing that thing again every so often where it feels like it stops and then starts up with a bang. Getting into a shower really brings it on. It is a very unsettling feeling.
And I had some irritability down below and in my bladder. The irritability ceased a lot during the day so my anxiety levels are down some right now, but give it time- the first sign of it coming back, I'll be right back to being an anxious mess.
I was upset about it on Friday and of course the first thing I get from everyone is "you need to get help and go on medicine". No shit, Sherlock. I know I need help, for fuck's sake. But I don't want to go on medicine. My family acts like I have never been on medicine. But I have! And despite no one believing me, I will go to my grave swearing that medicine (Effexor) is exactly what put me in the position I am in now. I wasn't exactly in a great spot before I went off of it, but going off it made everything a million times worse. And I hate to sound so shallow but I am not going to lie- I don't want to go on medicine because I don't want to gain weight.
And then my mom says something like I know it's my anxiety so why do I get so upset. I said because I can't shake the feeling that it may not be. I don't understand what is so hard to comprehend about these things. When I go through these bouts of worrying I have some disease or something, whether it's only my anxiety or not, I am still not going to be able to shake it off that that is all it is. THAT IS WHY I AM SO ANXIOUS.
And like the other times, when I go through these things, all I want is an answer. And I start contemplating going to the ER to get one, even though I know I'll go and all I get from the doctors is LOL ANXIETY. Just like everyone else tells me. And I am starting to worry that one of these days all my crying wolf and no one listening to me is going to bite me in the ass and I'll end up croaking. And then I'll laugh because nobody listened to me. Wherever I end up.
I also wonder a lot of times if I am really experiencing these symptoms or if they are possibly a figment of my anxiety. Is my anxiety so bad that it has me believing I am experiencing these symptoms when I really am not? That is unsettling. Extremely unsettling.
I was at Wal-Fart earlier and I was looking at ovulation tests. I was going to buy one but then I started to think, what if I buy one and it never shows I am ovulating? Then I'll lose it. I am still kind of wishing I bought one anyway. I am only on day 12 of my cycle, but maybe I might buy one over the next few days. Like I said before, I can usually physically tell when I am, but I think I may feel a little better if I have confirmation that I am, even though the tests may not always be accurate. I can't stand this every month worrying that it's going to come early or not at all. Every time I go into the bathroom, I dread that I am going to be bleeding unless I am expecting my period. It's sad how obsessed I have become with my menstrual cycle.
And to top off my anxiety, there is call for bad weather this upcoming week. The other day, TOR:CON was at 4 for Tuesday. It's since been downgraded to a 2-3, but still. What will it actually be on Tuesday? And Monday sounds like it's going to be stormy as well. I think TOR:CON is the same and so far the SPC has the risk for severe weather at slight for Monday. Whether either will change, I won't know until Monday. I am praying neither does, though, unless the severe risk changes from slight to nothing and TOR:CON is downgraded. Ugh, I am going to be such a wreck the next few days. Fucking Typhoon Neoguri wreaking havoc on everything.
Don't know if I have to get up early or not on Sunday so I guess I should head off to bed. My nerves are already in a frenzy that I am not going to sleep and/or wake up at some point with irritability. It never fucking stops ever.

I am laying in bed watching a special on the Weather Channel about the Joplin, MO tornado, complete with realtime footage. Am I trying to give myself another night of nightmares??

Song Of The Day
Do you know what made me like this song? Hearing it on the old school Local Forecast.
Okay, so I know their music isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I don't understand why so many people have so much fiery hate towards them. They seem harmless enough. And considering a lot of their songs seem to center around emotional issues (People quoted the lead singer Dan saying that "Radioactive" was about his own struggle with depression and anxiety, and then just listen to "Demons"), I can't help but really appreciate their songs.
Plus, Dan is fucking hot. Hell, I can even excuse the occasional mullet he sometimes sports. You ever watch the way he pounds that drum in the "Radioactive" video? *fans self*

Screw This
What was supposed to be an inch to two inches of snow eventually changing over to rain yesterday turned into more than half a foot of snow and ice. Our annual girl's shopping day ended up being canceled. Now there is call for almost a half a foot tomorrow. I want to scream.
And while over on the Weather Channel's website, I read an article about diseases threatening humanity. And went to a link discussing the guinea worm. Just.....this:

Also, I am half tempted to research why I have been craving bananas so much lately, but I am afraid I may bring on my next hypochondriac meltdown.
ETA 12/14: I just Googled pictures of guinea worms and OH GOD WHY
And while over on the Weather Channel's website, I read an article about diseases threatening humanity. And went to a link discussing the guinea worm. Just.....this:
Of all the many remarkable things about the guinea worm, here is something particularly remarkable: this journey causes its victim no pain. It’s not a fleeting infection, either. It takes the guinea worms three to four months to become sexually mature. The males only get to be 4 centimeters long; the females reach 25 times that length. Most of that extra space in their bodies is taken up by their uterus. If people have both males and females in their body, they can find each other and mate. After this internal congress, the male guinea worm creeps off to some corner of the body and dies. The female, meanwhile, swells with progeny. Three million embryos begin to grow inside her.
It takes months for the multitudes she contains to grow to the point when they’re ready to leave their mother–and their human world. She begins her journey to ground, slithering through the connective tissue until she reaches her host’s leg and creeping down further towards the foot. Only now, over a year after taking in the guinea worms, does a person become aware of what’s been happening. The guinea worm mother pierces the skin from the inside and releases an irritant that creates a painful blister–”burning without cease” as one tropical disease expert once put it.
There is only one balm for this pain: water. When people splash water on the blister, the guinea worm responds by twisting into a contraction and vomiting embryos from her mouth. The pain subsides for a while, but the blister swells again until another splash of water delivers another batch of guinea worm babies. The pain lasts, off and on, for months–until the parasite’s entire uterus has emptied its millions of embryos. Some of them may be lucky enough to end up in a pond full of hungry water fleas, where they can continue the cycle. (from Nat Geo)

Screw This
I am waiting for the SPC to post the First Day Outlook for Thursday. I think it usually is posted about 2AM. No big deal, as I do not believe I will be getting any sleep tonight. I feel like throwing up and my heart is pounding so hard, I am waiting for it to climb out of my chest and say "bitch, you're working me too hard here; I quit!" and stalk off in a huff.
ETA 2:00AM: As expected, the SPC's First Day Outlook is up. In regards to the Categorical, my area lies right on the line between moderate and slight risk. It's kind of tough to tell where exactly my town lies. I live not far from Philly, which is in the slight risk zone. The same situation goes for the tornadic probabilities, lying right in between the 10% and 5% zone.
Either way you look at it, I am still not any less anxious.
1:02PM: A storm system rolled through this morning. I wish I had been able to get a screenshot of the radar when it was rolling through. It was nasty looking. The first crack of thunder had me up and I immediately put the Weather Channel on. Not even five seconds later, that god-awful warning noise blares out of my TV with a severe thunderstorm warning. When the storm finally got its ass into NJ, it poured and hailed. Pea-sized hail was scattered all over our deck.
The SPC website shifted the moderate risk zone significantly south. I don't even think we are in the slight risk zone anymore. The tornado outlook shifted significantly south as well. We're not even in that zone. I guess I just have to hope for the best. (Yeah. Like that is going to happen)
On a completely unrelated note, my FB newsfeed is flooded with pictures from 2 of my cousins who are leaving for Disney World today.....again. To say that my mother's side of the family is obsessed with Disney World is an understatement. They are scarily obsessed with Disney. They go every year. I don't get it. I really don't. Maybe it's because I don't like crowds and I don't like kids and going to Disney would be like my own personal version of hell, but come on. Every fricking year? There are millions of better places to travel to! A lot cheaper places, too!
9:57PM: I think it is safe to day we're in the clear. I guess. But holy shit, last time I was on SPC website, there have been 3 reports of tornadoes, 59 reports of hail, and 588 reports of wind.

Ugh
Bad weather is expected tomorrow. I am already an anxious wreck. And my anxiety levels are likely to really start soaring as the night progresses. Unless by some chance this system coming through decides to weaken substantially, of course. That would be nice.
I am not sure how long I have been following the SPC website, but I don't believe I have ever seen day with a high risk for severe weather during that time. I was actually just wondering what happens when it's more than a moderate risk and lo and behold, I was giving my answer today.
A tornado watch was issued for parts of Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, and it is one of those dreaded Particularly Dangerous Situation watches. When I saw that earlier, I felt my stomach drop. Two other watches have also been issued, a severe thunderstorm watch (also a Particularly Dangerous Situation) and a tornado watch (not a PDS).
As of now, my area is under a moderate risk for severe weather:
TOR:CON is at a 3 to 4. I am terrified it will all change by tomorrow. All I can do right now is listen to music and try not to have a heart attack. And speaking of music, one of these days I will finally stop being lazy and get all of my scattered thoughts organized and post something on MGMT. I mean, come on....surely anyone who follows them on Facebook and/or Twitter couldn't possibly think I haven't heard the news yet (no, no show in my area yet, unfortunately. Or news on the the new album), could they? *crosses arms angrily* As if I would do such a thing!

Random Thoughts
It is not a good time to be a woman in my family right now. We are all miserable as fuck. My sister is miserable with her married life, my mother is miserable with her married life and over my sister being miserable with her married life, and I am almost completely absorbed in my own problems and how much I want to escape them by ending it all.
Well, I guess there are 2 things in my life I will do right- not get married and not have kids.
My car is going to get checked out later on. I can't wait to see how much this is going to cost me.
One of my cousins had her son's first birthday party on Sunday and considering they dislike her and usually never go to her parties, I expected the bitchy three to not be there. So I decided to go. Wouldn't you know they came? And as usual, the fat bitchy one ignored my sister and me. The one who I sent the message to back during my sister's baby shower was her usual fake ass phoney butter would melt in her mouth. What? No, I haven't let that go yet. I might only be a quarter Sicilian, but whoever said Sicilians don't forget hit the nail on the head, because if there is one thing in life I excel at, besides being nuts, it is never letting go of shit.
I keep waiting and hoping that one day I will go on Facebook and MGMT will post that they are coming near me. I will scream so loud, the entire state of NJ will hear me. Although I'd rather be completely sober, a part of me keeps thinking that if I ever get to see them again, I need to get my hands on something....psychedelic to take with me. But my luck I would probably have a bad reaction and freak the fuck out. Most people seemed to have their faculties at Musikfest, although there were the handful of people who clearly did not. There was this topless guy screaming constantly on the bleachers when we first got there. Security kept hollering at him to put his shirt on. I think eventually they kicked him out. Then my mother and I watched this girl a couple rows in front of us who was either completely pissed or high as a kite sitting with her boyfriend. She couldn't even sit up straight. She kept falling over. I'm like really? You're here to see a great band and you are barely conscious? Finally her boyfriend pulled her up and they left. I was hoping she'd face plant walking down the bleachers, but no such luck. They never did come back.
And do you know what would really make my life? Not that I would want to wait that long, but if they came to my area right around my birthday. At least it would give me something to look forward to for my birthday, because as of now, I'd rather not even see my 30th birthday.
This week is Tornado Week on the Weather Channel. I want to watch it, but I think it will give me nightmares. They are one of my worst fears, yet I have a morbid fascination with them.
I cannot believe yesterday was already six months since Sandy hit. Where on earth has the time gone? I also realized I never did mention that I went to Seaside a few weeks ago. Except for the boardwalk, it did not look nearly as bad as I thought it would. I expected a hell of a lot more destruction inland. Got some pretty decent pictures; here's a few:
That is the Beachcomber on the left. Apparently the Beach Bar had been knocked down. I don't know if it got destroyed right after I had reposted that picture from Twitter, or if it was just knocked down. There is no word on their Facebook page about rebuilding, but damn I hope they do. They had a great business there. And very good food.

Well....I am spotting again. I started yesterday. I don't know where I got 10 days from the first day of my period as being the time I usually start spotting again. It's usually around 13 days from it. Just about the time. I feel like crap. I feel just like I do before my period, but a much milder version of it. So I have to put up with PMS-lite right at the middle of my cycle, it will last for a few days, and then PMS time comes. So maybe for one week out of every cycle I actually feel somewhat decent. I was up from 6AM to 9AM because I was so upset over it. I am so frustrated. I don't know what to do. I don't know where to go. Medical professionals are no help. They don't even try to find out what is causing it. It's just birth control or nothing.
Oh and there is the whole having no medical thing, too.
And to add more to my mountain o'stress, I am now starting to get really concerned that I may have an eating disorder. Peachy. Just what I need. In addition to depression, anxiety, OCD, and social phobia, why not add an eating disorder? I also wouldn't be surprised if an undiagnosed case of borderline personality disorder is hiding in there somewhere. I thought my former psychiatrist was onto something with bipolar, but now I am not so sure. Now I have said I am not one to diagnonsense myself or others, but I am starting to think I sound more borderline than bipolar.
I am starting to also think the time has finally come for me to cut down on my intake of diet Coke, despite how much as I love it. I feel like my body is more polluted than the Delaware River. I am starting to side eye everything I put into my body, wondering what kind of damage it is doing to my body. I don't even want to eat anything anymore. Except oatmeal. For some reason, I am really loving oatmeal anymore. Plain oatmeal with nothing on it. YUM.
You know, it has been such a long time since my sister and I have hung out. It kind of annoys me. For a few weeks up until she gave birth, it was always she wants to do something but she doesn't want to eat out because then she'll have swelling. Which I understand.....until she would say the next day or later on in the week that she went to some restaurant that we would normally eat at. One Saturday I thought maybe we would do something, but she pulled the swelling card. Then I found out later on she went to Friday's for dinner. Is she kidding me?? Look, I am fine with her not hanging out with me all of the time. She is married and now has a baby. But for the longest time she hung out with me because hubby wasn't around. Now that he is, it's like screw you sis, I don't need you. And maybe I am wrong to feel this way (wouldn't be the first time), but I feel used.
And I thought it was just me getting annoyed with how my BIL is all over helping my sister when she is doing things for the baby. Helping is fine, but he is ridiculous. It's like he doesn't trust her. My grandparents were over the other day and my sister was doing something with feeding the baby and I don't know what my BIL was doing, but later on my grandmother said to my mother something like geeze, my granddaughter can't feed her own child without him having to butt in? When we were over last Friday, I asked if I could change the baby for the first time, and my sister and I got up to head downstairs and my BIL followed. I was like are you kidding me? My sister and I are perfectly capable of changing the baby ourselves! I might not care for children, but I did work in a daycare. I know how to change a baby! I have never changed one that little, of course, but it's not like I am not going to decide to devour my damn nephew or something! God! I don't know how my sister stands it. She worries about her mother-in-law making her feel inadequate? I don't know how dear hubby doesn't make her feel inadequate! I would lose my patience quickly and scream look, buddy, I carried this kid for 9 months and delivered it; get off my back!
Next week on the Weather Channel is going to be Tornado Survival week. The commercials says a tornado drops from the sky, what is your plan? Hm. Well, seeing as I probably wouldn't stand a chance at surviving, I'd probably do the Clamu on an emotional rampage reaction- scream and run in circles. Ugh, I am dreading spring and summer.
YUM.

ALREADY?
All last week I complained about how cold it was. It was brutal. But I will take that weather over the weather today. With it being so warm and a cold front coming through, we are due for big thunderstorms later on. South Jersey- not quite sure what TWC is defining as SJ today- has a TOR:CON of 3. My stomach and nerves have been in a turmoil today.
It's too damn early in the year for this shit!

GTFO Sandy III
It's getting closer and closer to storm time. I honestly have no idea how I am going to get through the next few days without having a nervous breakdown. I can deal with lots of rain, and *gritting teeth* power outages. But it's the possibility of damaging winds, floods, and tornado threats that have me really off the wall. Look at Irene last year. Three tornado warnings nearly back to back. I was a wreck that entire day and my ability to handle stress was a smidgen better than it is now.
The good news is according to BAMF Dr. Forbes from the Weather Channel, the threat for tornadoes is supposed to be low. Something to do with low or very limited instability, and I have also heard too much cold air. I really hope it's true. As of now, the TOR:CON is this:
You know what? I am glad everyone I know can just joke about this and brush it off like it's nothing. Yeah, meteorologists have overblown things many times before. And frankly, I am PRAYING this is one of those times. But for God's sake, people. This isn't a joke.
My stomach is going to be in knots every time I go on any of these pages of what could be posted. I can't wait until all of this is over. I don't think I will have a good nights sleep until at least HOPEFULLY Tuesday night. Guess I should try to go get some sleep now.
12:15PM: Local news has Sandy's center crossing over AC.
2:40PM: TWC has Sandy's center crossing central Jersey.
2:48PM: LOL @ the local forecast playing "Pop Song 89" by REM
4:10PM: Mayor Bloomberg has a grating voice. Almost as bad as Chris Christie. He was on earlier. I swear, he took up almost the entire TV screen.
6:25PM: Any suggestions on how I can accidentally on purpose knock myself out for the next.....oh, say, 42 hours? I'm really starting to get nervous now. And my heart keeps beating irregularly. It's a very uncomfortable feeling. Man, I wish I had some booze.
9:49PM: MOTHER OF GOD, I AM SO SICK OF THE WEATHER CHANNEL!
Also, FINALLY some TOR:CON updates:
Hm. I wonder why none of the Sandy affected areas are listed anymore. Weird. Oh well. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Also, FINALLY some TOR:CON updates:
Many times tropical systems produce tornadoes as they move inland. However, in the case of Sandy the tornado threat will be fairly low. Our Severe Weather Expert Dr. Greg Forbes says that there is a low chance of a tornado on Monday in Rhode Island, eastern Massachusetts and southern Maine. On Tuesday, there is a low chance of a tornado in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and eastern Long Island.Latest values:

Please Stop!
I thought after Sept 8th, and with the weather being somewhat cooler, that maybe, just maybe, we were finally out of the crazy weather zone, even just for a little bit. But no:
I can't with this shit anymore. My stomach has been in knots since I went to bed. I feel like vomiting. I am sitting in a closed up house with no fan and no air conditioner running and am shaking from anxiety and from feeling cold (I always get chilled when I am really anxious). Every time I go on the SPC or which ever weather webpage, I get even more anxious of what the latest prediction is going to say. SPC has the Mid-Atlantic under a slight risk for severe weather. The TOR:CON is currently sitting at a 3 for NJ. And it would be easy to say well why don't I just stay off the different weather pages, but.....yeah. Not going to happen. Easier said than done.
The next 36+ hours should be a blast.
ETA 9/18 1:58PM: Tornado watch until 7PM. TOR:CON bumped to a 5. The SPC upgraded the Mid-Atlantic to a moderate risk of severe weather. The SPC also has a 10% tornado probability for my area and much of the surrounding areas. For this particular tornado watch, the SPC has a moderate chance, or 50% chance, of a tornado, 20% of an EF-2 or higher. There is a 500% chance of a nervous breakdown within the next 12 hours.
5:14PM: CAN THIS DAY GET OVER ALREADY?!
5:36PM: TOR:CON knocked to a 3. SPC knocked the tornado probability from 10% down to 5%. Anxiety levels still just as high, if not higher. I will not rest until I hear the words "the system continues to break apart" or "the system has passed through". I'm so anxious, I don't even want to eat. As I have said before, you know my anxiety is bad when that happens. And I wish I had a bottle of vodka. I could use a shot. Or 2. Or 7.
5:47PM: The squall line is not far.
*crosses fingers* Please start breaking up! Please break up!
9:56PM: The squall line came through my area about 6:30PM or so. A lot of rain, not terrible wind, but still quite a bit. I saw one flash of lightening, and heard a few booms of thunder. And that was pretty much it. The tornado watch had been extended to 9PM. I think the system is out of here, but my local news said not to let down guard until after midnight. So I will do just that. Even though I just found this Tweet from the Weather Channel.
ETA 9/19 1:18AM: I think it is finally safe for me to say....ADIOS!
Maybe now I can get a good night's sleep, considering I barely slept at all last night. Hey Mother Nature....can we not do this again for a long time? Preferably never again?

The Awesome Of The Day
I just checked the SPC webpage and it is the first time since Tuesday there are no tornado watches. Huzzah! The last two expired at 10:00PM CDT.
Looking at some of the pictures of the damage....just whoa. Some places are pratically underwater.
You know what else fascinates me during these storms? The reporters that give the news in the midst of them. I don't know how they do it. I would have to tie myself to a light pole or something. Are these people crazy or just friggin awesome? Especially that Cantore guy. He's a BAMF.
I found a link in the Weather Channel webpage of every song they have played on the Local Forecast and I am hooting at some of the songs. I have heard local forecasts with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Maroon 5, Snow Patrol, Pink Floyd, Linkin Park, and Death Cab For Cutie. And several months later, I am getting an answer to my question in this post, that yes, they did play Sublime. Damn, how come I have yet to hear a Local Forecast with "Houdini" by Foster the People? I love that song! I swear, if they ever played MGMT, I would be so mad.
Okay. No they have not. No reason to freak. But they should. I suggest "Siberian Breaks". And for some reason "Indie Rokkers". Although the latter they would have to make an instrumental version of it, because I do not think many people would be happy with the lyrics of it.
And speaking of changed music, I was at Buy Buy Baby the other day....first off, before I go any further, can I just say how much I dislike baby stores? I feel like I am on a completely different planet. I really and truly can believe I have no maternal instinct every time I leave these stores. It's kind of sad. But anyway, I found these CDs of lullaby versions of different rock bands. It would have been awesome if there had been one of MGMT. I totally would have bought it.

Another Angry Letter To The Weather Channel
Dear Weather Channel:
I love you. I have loved you since I was little, which in that sense tells me I should probably be a metereologist. I watch you at least twice a day and am on your website several times a day. I single handedly could have crashed both of these mediums on the weekend of Hurricane Irene.
Look, I understand you want to get people to PAY ATTENTION when weather warnings are issued. After all, surely not paying attention probably accounts for a lot of weather related deaths, doesn't it? But please, for the love of all that is holy, get rid of that annoying bleeping at the beginning of a warning when it is coming across the bottom of the TV screen!
On another note- did I hear Sublime playing during a local forecast report?
Sincerely,
A huge fan
