ALREADY?

All last week I complained about how cold it was. It was brutal. But I will take that weather over the weather today. With it being so warm and a cold front coming through, we are due for big thunderstorms later on. South Jersey- not quite sure what TWC is defining as SJ today- has a TOR:CON of 3. My stomach and nerves have been in a turmoil today.

It's too damn early in the year for this shit!

*rocking back and forth and sobbing loudly*

MGMT Get Even Wilder on Synth-Heavy Third Album

JUNE?! Really? But....but that is so far away! Oh well still excited. So excited I could rip my clothes off and run through the neighborhood in my underwear, howling at the top of my lungs.

Yeah. That is a scene no one needs to imagine. Anyway, sneak preview:

*sniffs* Flawless. So flawless. I can't stop listening to it. I have to get this on my iPod somehow so I can play the hell out of it.

ETA 1/31: Every time I listened to the beginning, I kept thinking, it reminds me of another song. And it finally just dawned on me- "Crossfire" by Brandon Flowers.

The WTF of the Day

Yes, I am still alive. Fortunately. Unfortunately. Whatever. This:

John Boehner: Ending Abortion Is 'One Of Our Most Fundamental Goals This Year'

Really? All of the problems affecting this nation, this great nation, "the greatest nation in the world" yet we don't even make the top 10 world's happiest countries.....and this dick is getting his dick in a twist over abortion. Stay the fuck out of my womb, you no good son of a bitch.

New Mexico Bill Would Criminalize Abortions After Rape As 'Tampering With Evidence'

I can't even read that article. My eye is twitching violently and my brain is about to stroke out just reading the headline.

The Awesome Of The Day

At 1:30PM, Vh-1 is going to be running the episode of Saturday Night Live when MGMT performed. I hate that I have to suffer through SNL, but....MGMT! I am so excited I can hardly stand it.

2:10PM: Ugh, this show is painful. Older episodes were fine, although I was more keen on early MadTV and Kids in the Hall. Words can never express how much I loved Kids in the Hall. I just have to keep reminding myself that MGMT will be on....eventually. Maybe sometime this century.

Quote Of The Day

From "Artist Unknown":
Squidward: Ok, SpongeBob. Let's just move onto the marble.
SpongeBob: First, an artist must concentrate and visualize his concept.
Squidward: Now you've got it.
SpongeBob: I've gotta embrace the marble!
Squidward: Right.
SpongeBob: I've gotta sniff the marble!
Squidward: Well, uh, ok.
SpongeBob: I've gotta lick the marble!
Squidward: Uhh...
SpongeBob: [washes the marble in a washing machine] I've gotta wash the marble! [sitting in a restaurant with the marble] I've gotta date the marble! [expands himself so that he's the same size as the marble] I've gotta BE THE MARBLE! I've got it! I have seen the sculpture within.

Random Thoughts

Going on five days of no birth control. Still nauseous. My face is breaking out again (huzzah), although that may be due to going back to Folgers coffee. Maxwell House seemed a lot lighter and I don't think I broke out as bad. I don't feel as irritable. I just feel like my normal irritable self. My normal irritable guilt-racked self. I feel horribly guilty going off of the pill, but I don't like being on it. I'm not needing to prevent any pregnancies (at this point, I should probably just start accepting I am going to more than likely die a virgin one day. Honestly, I don't even care anymore). If that is what it was being used for, then I would be more hesitant to go off of it.

Unlike many people, the only thing I never had a problem with was remembering to take it the same time every day. Every night, on cue, 8PM sharp. I already did that with other pills I take, so it came pretty natural for me. It's one thing in life I can do right.

I don't like the idea of having a man-made product determine when I am getting my period. And now I am upset because before I went on the pill, and aside from the mid-cycle bleeding, I had pretty regular periods. God knows what a month of faux hormones has done to my cycle. I don't like that I have felt so awful the last time I stopped the pill, and this time that I stopped the pill. I was only on them a month. How much did they do in that little time?

And I can't stress it enough- I don't like being on the pill to stop this mid-cycle bleeding without knowing why I am having mid-cycle bleeding. Hormone imbalancement? Okay, then the pill would be beneficial. But wouldn't it help to know that it is definitely one?

I mentioned before it could be my thyroid. I doubt it, since my thyroid is always normal and aside from showing many signs of hypothyroidism I am not having any unexplained weight gain, but you never know. I do have a script for a TSH test, but I don't know how much it would cost me to have it done. What I do know is birth control won't help with a low functioning thyroid.

Vitamin deficiency? Possible. I still think it is very possible I am lacking something. I can't imagine I am not. My diet is atrocious. Tons of caffeine, tons of aspartame, tons of diet Coke, coffee, processed foods, refined sugars, fried foods, etc. I am on a huge cheese and huge peanut butter kick anymore. I could eat pounds of cheese if given the opportunity. Many days I would like to go into the kitchen and eat an entire jar of peanut butter. I crave chocolate like it's going out of style. The healthiest thing I eat every day is an apple, and I am not even sure that the apples I eat are even big enough to count as one serving of fruit. I'd like to demand a vitamin blood test, but heaven knows how much it would cost. Stupid being uninsured. I'd go into a rant about that, but I'm not in a bad enough mood for that. And nothing nice would come from it.

And I am also starting to wonder if my large consumption of water per day could be contributing to anything. One hundred and five ounces a day. If it's true that you should drink half your weight in water, then I am definitely drinking too much. Maybe I am depleting my body of the little vitamins I am taking in. I only drank 64 oz yesterday, so let's see what comes of that.

I haven't gotten around to talking about it, but I see the faux-mance known as Haylor is already over. Like no one saw that coming. A big LOL at those who honestly thought it was real. Looking at pictures of them together makes me laugh. The look on Harry's face in pretty much all of the pictures was just MEH. Like what in the hell am I doing?

I saw some article that said he broke up with Taylor because she wouldn't put out. Now this was probably er, put out to make someone look good, not sure which one, but if it was true, which it probably isn't, so what? So what if she won't put out? Why is it a bad thing if someone doesn't want to hop into bed with someone immediately? Or even for a while?

And it still annoys me that people were jumping all over her for being 4 years older than Harry. Four freaking years. Big deal. Yesterday a new MGMT post was finally put up over on ONTD (oh god that kitten is so SQUEE) and do you know what people were saying about Andrew and his 8 year younger (give or take a few months) girlfriend, as well as in a few other posts? They are cute together. Which *grits teeth* they kinda are, but no one, not one person, ever questioned what a 29, almost 30 year-old would have in common with a 22 year-old (last I knew that was how old she was). No robbing the cradle comments, etc. Nothing at all.

Honestly, I don't give a shit about age. I'd date someone older or younger than me, as long as they are legal, although I don't think I'd go any younger than 20 or older than mid 40's. Neither age difference is a big deal to me. But it's the fact of the matter than no one questions Andrew, but Taylor gets criticized. If people think a 4 year difference is disgusting, then so is an 8 year difference, regardless of the gender of who is older and who is younger.

But....the article does mention that they are still currently working on the third album. You know, I love entertainers who are not splattered all over the news or tabloids, but sometimes MGMT's vagueness is a little frustrating. Judging by the kitty's face, is it good? I heard "Alien Days" at Musikfest. That was good. At least say how far you are with the album, for God's sake! Many impatient fans, boys! We wants it. WE NEEDS IT!

I feel like my heart is about to flutter of my chest right now. What an awful feeling. I am so tired of feeling like shit and not being able to get an answer. I'm tired of stressing so bad over this, of pretty much being the only thing my mind ever focuses on.

Article Of The Day

5 Changes That Would Make the Game Monopoly More Accurate

I have the America Edition of  Monopoly. It has some pretty sweet tokens in it, like an apple pie. Which I always have dibs on. But I happened to discover from the comments that there is a Futurama edition. How have I not known of this? WHY DO I NOT OWN THIS?!

Song Of The Day

I cannot understand why it took me almost a year to finally appreciate this song. All those minutes I have missed listening to it.....*weeps*

Sometimes my love for them overwhelms me so much, I want to cry. The other day I was in the car and one of their songs was playing, "Weekend Wars" I think, and I thought, good God I still can't believe I saw them live, I was actually in the same exact spot as them, and I was flooded with a gazillion different emotions. Mostly happy ones. And if I am listening to "Siberian Breaks", then I am really overwhelmed with feels. Over a thousand plays later, that song still continues to absolutely blow my mind each and every time. I feel like I need to know and analyze every aspect of it, study every single piece of sheet music for each and every single damn vocalization and instrument in the song. I need to know what key it is in, what notes are the lyrics, what the time signature is, etc (note to self: do a minor brush up on music theory before doing so). If I could, I would get inside Andrew's head at the exact moment he wrote this song. I want to feel what he was feeling. Okay, that is a little creepy, but you get the gist. I can't listen to that song loud enough. I am pretty sure a good chunk of the hearing I have lost in the past year is due to that song. Music has a unbelievably huge impact on my emotional well being, but I can't say I have ever felt such an emotional connection to a song like I have with this song. Going back to my question of being in the right spot at the right time, that night several years ago when I heard "Kids" for the first time ever....clearly I was in a damn good spot.

Don't judge me and my hormonal-ness.

Random Thoughts

Well, I am not vomiting my guts up or anything, so it appears the ham was not bad. Or I saved my ass from food poisoning by making myself throw up (don't ask my throat and esophagus what they think of that). Thank goodness. I was a nervous wreck all yesterday.

On the other hand, I stopped taking the Sronyx on Saturday because I was feeling so awful from it. For having lower levels of hormones, I am surprised it was having a bigger effect on me than the Ortho-Cyclen. Particularly emotionally. I started crying at one point on Saturday and couldn't stop. And that was when I decided I wanted to go off of it. And unlike the Ortho, the withdrawal effects didn't appear until two days later. The only good to come so far is I don't feel as bloated and some of my um, constipation problems have eased up. But I woke up today and was having really bad cramps. And then started bleeding. The Ortho brought it on the next day. I am still an emotionally charged basket case. Bad anxiety. I can't stop crying. Feeling very on edge. I had terrible road anger (not quite what I would call rage) earlier. People are so fucking stupid! No turn signals, people flying over into my lane without signaling and right on top of me, etc. I almost broke my horn blowing it at people.

My sister's shower went pretty well for the most part. Six people who RSVP'd yes didn't show up, only two of which had acceptable excuses. The rest had no excuse. Didn't even a call. None of our second cousins showed up, including the one I had personally emailed and never received a response from. Bitches. Two of my cousins brought their young daughters. Never called and asked if they could. The other cousin who was supposed to bring her daughter didn't end up bringing her. Why do people have no goddam manners? I really don't get it.

The two men working the shower were nice and worked well, but not too bright. We had a full sheet cake. They didn't even cut half of it. For 34 people. The slices of cake were practically the size of petit fours. And then there ended up not even being enough cake for people because some were grabbing more than one slice of cake. And we didn't realize until after a large chunk of people left that the idiots didn't even cut half the cake. And then we had the place until 3:30PM and workers were coming in at about 2:40 and cleaning up and setting up for the next affair.

The shower itself went pretty smooth, but outside of it was just frustrating. My mom, aunt, dad, and I did the bulk of carrying the favors and everything needed in and out of the place. The same when it came to leaving, although my brother-in-law and a friend were there at the end with the gifts. My sister's mother-in-law and father-in-law barely did anything. And my brother-in-law was getting pissed at people carrying stuff. I don't know what the fuck his problem is with people helping, but it's starting to piss me the hell off. God forbid should he not be the fucking big shot.

And while we were setting up and cleaning up, my grandmother was annoying the hell out of me. She wouldn't just sit down. She was in the way constantly and complaining about everything and complaining about not being able to hear people when they talked to her. I felt like just screaming for the love of God, will you get the fuck out of the way and go sit down?! And then I got aggravated with her when she started to cry when we were setting up everything. Look, I know I come from a family that gets emotional over happy things, but come on. I know, I am an awful person, aren't I? I love my grandmother to death, but she just stresses me out so bad anymore. I can't deal with her constant complaining about still living in an apartment, how my aunt is a hoarder, or my aunt does this, or my aunt does that, etc. Or her getting pissed off at people because she can't hear what they say. Stop being so vain and get a hearing aid!

Dear God, I want to get out of my head so bad right now. It's nice when you are in a terrible place and can get out of it. Not so much when that terrible place is your own fucking mind.

The Stupid Of The Day

I get the honors today! I had leftover ham for lunch and it didn't smell bad, but it just had a weird sweet smell to it. My mom douses it in brown sugar when she cooks it, so I am assuming that was part of the smell. It didn't taste foul, but parts of it had an odd sweet taste to it. Now I am worried that I ate bad ham. I had myself so worried that I went in and stuck my finger down my throat and threw it up. And a little while later, I wanted to make sure I had everything out of my stomach, so I went in and tried to throw up again. Have you ever vomited up pure stomach acid? So now I am not only worried I had bad ham, but my throat is on fire.

And don't ask why I didn't just not eat it if I was that concerned. I have no response for that except that I was just a grade A moron who should have just thrown it out.

I just saw some article on D-Listed that Beyonce and Jay-Z spent $200,000 on their pillow baby's first birthday party. Really? Two grand? For a birthday party the little brat won't even remember? That's asinine. And anyone who actually defends them are just as idiotic.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Because Facebook is a big shithead and can't leave well enough alone, I went on MGMT's page to see if there have been any updates that have somehow *raises knife and grits teeth* NOT made it to my news feed and I found out they are going to be playing at Penn State's spring music festival in April. Bethlehem was pushing it. University Park is pretty much out of the question. So close, but so far. I'd have to sell my soul, or what's left of it, to go to this show. And I would. I totally would.

*sniffs* I'm going to go cry myself to sleep now.

Random Thoughts

Continuing on with the shower, now on top of the almost one grand place rental, there is the cost of the shower favors, which has to be at least $150 since my sister's mother-in-law insisted on those expensive nonpareils (I tasted a dark chocolate one and it was good, but it tasted no different than the Hershey's special dark chocolates I gorge on every Christmas); balloons, another $60, because my aunt insisted on getting these two huge balloons worth $10 a piece; and now we have about $50 worth of white chocolate baby bottle lollipops, which my aunt also insisted on getting.

And you should see all of the gifts my aunt has bought. I think last time my mother and I counted, it was about 13 gifts. My sister is going to be pissed and embarrassed when she has to open all of those gifts and say "this is from my aunt". And when my mom said something to her about not leaving gifts for other people, her response was "I don't care". Good attitude, eh?

I am in a pretty bad mood right now. Those pills are making me feel like crap. And I almost passed out in the shower today. I started to feel nauseous, then light-headed, and then my vision started getting a little weird, so I turned off the water and sat down. It scared the hell out of me. And feeling so scared from it made my anxiety levels rise, so I started to feel even worse and more light-headed. I have had this feeling before, long before I even went on the birth control. Not all of the time. I have gotten plenty of showers and it doesn't happen. But every so often it does.

I am really worried why this happens. Why a lot keeps happening. And it's like fish bait for the Addison's fear. It starts to go away, something happens, and reels it right back in. I am so tired of feeling shitty that sometimes I wish whatever is wrong with me would just kill me already.

I read a post over on ONTD (I know, I know) about the Baby-Sitter's Club books. Man, I loved those books. I think I read pretty much every single one. Some of the books are still pretty clear in my mind, like the one where Claudia's grandmom dies, Stacey visits NYC, Mallory gets mono, Jessie signs up for the talent show or whatever it was and mimics her dorky teacher, Stacey and Maryann going down the shore with (I think) Mallory's family, Abby being suspended from school right before her Bat Mitzvah, etc. I read the Little Sister series as well. And I think I may have read most, if not all, of the California Diaries. I remember them being dark.

I also read Sweet Valley Kids and Sweet Valley Twins. Never really read the Sweet Valley High series, though. I may have read a couple books, but I am not sure. One of my favorite books in the series was the Sweet Valley Twins Christmas one, where the three ghosts visit Jessica.

I read pretty much all of the Goosebumps books, too. I also remember reading the Babysitter series by RL Stine. I think that is what it was called, the one where the babysitter keeps getting prank calls and eventually in one of the books it ends up being her or something. To this day, every time I hear the words "rock quarry" or "quarry", I think of those books.

There was also the Boxcar Children. I think I read pretty much all of those as well. I remember always wanting my own boxcar like in the books. Another thing I remember is as much as I loved the characters, their perfect behavior used to drive me nuts.

But nothing, and I mean nothing, will ever hold a candle to the Berenstain Bears. I have complete unconditional love for those books. And I still own every single book from my childhood.

All of this talk of books is reminding me that I really need to take a trip up to the library. I don't think I have been there since October. I am in dire need of some books to read.

Random Thoughts

My sister and I are a lot alike. And then there are times where we are absolute opposites. Neither of us come from anything. And we both are well aware of that. Yet you wouldn't know it sometimes. When we were starting to plan my sister's baby shower, my sister made it clear she did not want to be surprised like with her bridal shower*. And then she casually mentions how it would be nice to have it at the same place as her bridal shower, which was also the same place her wedding was at. I thought it was a bit nervy of her to even suggest where she wanted it, but of course Mom is always out to please her princess so she booked it for there.

*she claims she doesn't like surprises; I think it has more to do with the fact that if she doesn't know about it, she can't make herself look absolutely perfect

Do you know how much this shower is costing? Almost one grand. Almost one fucking thousand dollars. This is just the cost of the place itself. Not including balloons, the party favors, gifts, etc. And it was decided that the 5 of us (Mom, mother-in-law, my aunt, my grandmother, and me) were going to split the entire thing. I was not happy when I found that out. Mostly because I don't know how long people were planning to not tell me that. One thousand dollars is a ridiculous price for a shower. And my sister has a lot of GALL to expect such a fancy shower when she knows my mother is tight on money, I lost my job, and my aunt sucks with money and is always tight on it. I honestly don't get her mindset with this. I don't understand who she is trying to impress.

And still no response from my cousin. And I did see that she read it. Bitch. If I didn't like anyone in my father's side of the family before, I really hate them now. All of the goddamn parties we have attended for those assholes, and not one could return the favor for my sister. There have been so many times my sister has went nuts switching work schedules to make it to these parties. And not one could make the effort to come. It wouldn't be so bad if the bulk of the excuses weren't so half-assed, like one soon to be cousin's excuse that she always has to work on Saturdays. Okay. Then explain why you have been at so many other Saturday parties.

And her mother-in-law decided to take matters into her own hands and get the party favors. She buys these expensive ass nonpareils, like $15 per pound, that are not even remotely baby colored. The boxes are all green and not assorted. And then she brings green ribbon over. Not pastel green. Kelly green. The five of us put them together on Sunday and I just looked at them like really? These don't look like baby shower favors. They look like something for St. Patty's Day! For someone who thinks she knows everything about everything, she clearly knows nothing about baby shower favors. Anyone with half a brain knows you use pastel colored objects.

I'm excited about the shower, but I honestly can't wait until it is over. My mother is on edge about, and she is taking it all out on me. And I am tired of every conversation being about it. I try to talk to my mom about things bothering and she just completely ignores me and goes on about the shower. Like my problems don't even matter. And being on these damn birth control pills are making me feel really depressed, so my problems being ignored is really bugging me. I can't tell you how many times I have cried this past week because I feel so hurt.

I don't feel much different since I switched to the Sronyx. I feel just as bloated. The only thing that is different is I am feeling a lot more depressed, having more mood swings, and I am feeling a lot more hostile. I am normally someone who is pretty good at holding her tongue, but there have been many times I have had to leave the room because I knew I'd say something I'd regret.

Oh and I am definitely feeling more nauseous. I also am starting to wonder if birth control is what could be constipating me so bad. This is one of the worst bouts of constipation I have had in a long time, if ever. My lower abdomen is bulging so bad. It's also rock hard. It's really starting to worry me. I took Milk of Magnesia earlier, but it has yet to start working. If it does. Doctors claim the pill can't cause constipation, but I can't see why it couldn't. Then again, any side effect with birth control is always shunned by medical professionals. And due to all of this bloating and minor breast swelling, I feel so top heavy. I feel like my belly is as big as my sister's.

Birth control apparently tricks a woman's body into thinking she is pregnant. If all these symptoms I am feeling are any inkling as to what my body would be like if I were pregnant, then I am REALLY glad I am never getting pregnant.

My mother and I went over my grandparents the other day since my father is an asshole and couldn't just let my mom dye my aunt's hair on Sunday while she was over and while I was in the bathroom, I hear my grandfather yelling about taxes and Obama and all that. Then the fire department calls looking for donations. My grandfather tells them he is on a fixed income, Obama raised his taxes, blah blah blah. Then he gets off the phone and starts screaming about people wanting donations. And then this was the best part- he starts yelling what have the police and firemen ever done for him? I just looked at him in disbelief.

The Moronic Comment Of The Day

From this ONTD article:

That's funny, because I don't recall many, if any, MGMT songs being about break-ups. I mean, I'll gladly go listen to all of the songs in my iTunes library, since I'll always find an excuse to listen to their songs, but I seriously cannot name any off of the top of my head*. Jesus. I don't care how much of a psycho stan I sound like, but come on. MGMT isn't a bunch of whiny emos. But I guess you would know that if you actually LISTENED TO THEIR MUSIC, you dumb cow.

*I am not the best person when it comes to deciphering song lyrics, so I am solely basing this on my interpretations of songs, as well as on what the songs actually mean coming straight from the horse's mouth, e.g "Siberian Breaks" is about surfing in the Arctic Circle. And even if there is a break-up song in existence, it's probably so much fun that I don't even realize it's a break-up song.

I will hit shuffle on iTunes and....."Song For Dan Treacy" is first. That is definitely not a break-up song. But it is a fun song to dance to. Also, I just went back and reread that article in the link for "Siberian Breaks" and this part:
Pack a wetsuit.
I saw a surf video with some guy who is surfing up there. But it looks a little too chilly for me. I don't want to be the guy that's completely covered in rubber.
Oh no. Please do, Andrew. My ovari-er, humanity will thank you.

Oh What A Surprise

And Here Comes The Revenge Single In 3..2...

The WTF Of The Day

Chocolate baby heads are a chocky horror show

After seeing this, I think I am going to back and look at those dermoid cyst pictures (NSWE, NSFPWE, NSFAA, NSFU) to take my mind OH GOD THERE ARE PICTURES OF THE ONES WITH TEETH. There is a picture of one with a big honking molar jutting out of it!

ARGH

Everyone and everything is annoying me more since I started the pill, but is there by some chance that birth control can make women more annoyed with men? Because I swear since I started it, men have really been irritating the fuck out of me. Especially my father. Doesn't help that he walked into my bedroom while my door was closed yesterday morning. And right now he is fighting with my mom because she said she would like to dye my aunt's hair while they are over tomorrow so she can save herself a trip to Philly this week. He's saying that my mom's hands are bad and they have nerve expecting her to do that. Like he gives a shit. He cared about her "bad hands" back in the fall when she was cleaning the entire house while he sat on his fat ass. Your house. You know, the one you pay for. Really grasping at straws there, old man.

This bout of constipation is really starting to piss me the hell off. If this bloating is due to the birth control also, I'd rather have bleeding in between periods than deal with this.

And the fact that I sent one of my cousins an email asking if she is going to attend my sister's shower and she has not responded to it yet despite the fact that I have seen her online twice is pissing me off, too. God, what is so fucking difficult about hitting reply and saying yes I am coming or no I am not coming? I don't get it.

The WTF Of The Day

Steubenville High School Students Joke About Rape In Video Leaked By Anonymous

Proud of yourselves, boys? Proud that you took advantage of someone? Good god. People are disgusting. Could you imagine being the mother or father of one of these little shits? I'd break their legs, and then I would disown them. But judging by the article, Mommy and Daddy probably don't think their sons did anything wrong. I heard one of the mothers was one of the prosecutors. The girl was probably just some drunk slut. I mean, it's always the woman's fault right? How dare she look all cute and sexy in front of men. How dare her cute and sexiness force a man's penis to become hard and then forced into her vagina.

And this shithead:
Even without much official public information about the night, some people in town are skeptical of the police account, like Nate Hubbard, a Big Red volunteer coach. As he stood in the shadow of Harding Stadium, where he once dazzled the crowd with his runs, Hubbard gave voice to some of the popular, if harsh, suspicions. “The rape was just an excuse, I think,” said the 27-year-old Hubbard, who is No. 2 on the Big Red’s career rushing list.“What else are you going to tell your parents when you come home drunk like that and after a night like that?” said Hubbard, who is one of the team’s 19 coaches. “She had to make up something. Now people are trying to blow up our football program because of it.”
Are you for real, dude? Really. Are you fucking for real? With that attitude, I bet this knuckle-dragging Neanderthal probably did his fair share of raping girls back in high school.

I hope everyone involved in this goes to jail. And I hope the prisoners know the story. And I hope those two little MISTAKES get passed around and raped repeatedly by the prisoners. And unlike the young lady, I hope they are both completely conscious during the whole thing. Fuck these two little shits, fuck the school, fuck that idiot Hubbard, fuck the coaches, and most of all, fuck those asinine OMGZ football is everything towns.

Random Thoughts

I have iTunes open and on shuffle and "Future Reflections" just came on. I have never cared for that song, but I think I may just finally be warming up to it. "Future Reflections" and "Lady Dada's Nightmare" are the only two MGMT songs I have never cared for by them. I doubt I will ever care for the latter, though. It just freaks me out too much.

I contacted my old boss about the side effects I have been having from the birth control. So I am now going to be going off of Ortho-Cyclen (I went back on it yesterday) and going on Sronyx, which has lower hormones. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I am so damn bloated today I want to scream. My digestive system seriously could not have picked a worse time to have a bad IBS flare up, between going on birth control and the holidays.

I was given a prescription to have a pelvic ultrasound done to make sure there are no cysts or anything. I have no idea how to even go about having this done. Personally I think maybe I should have it done, because this bloating is really starting to concern me. But how I would afford it, I don't know. I mean technically I could, but my unemployment ended and there is still no job in sight, so I am hesitant to put out the money for it.

I am reading on ovarian cysts on WebMD and there are all these different types:
  • Polycystic ovaries. In polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), the follicles in which the eggs normally mature fail to open and cysts form.
  • Endometriomas. In women with endometriosis, tissue from the lining of the uterus grows in other areas of the body. This includes the ovaries. It can be very painful and can affect fertility.
  • Cystadenomas. These cysts form out of cells on the surface of the ovary. They are often fluid-filled.
  • Dermoid cysts. This type of cyst contains tissue similar to that in other parts of the body. That includes skin, hair, and teeth.
That last one....skin, hair, and teeth? Just like those tumors I talked about before. I am going to go google dermoid cyst on Google images and OH GOD WHY

Quote Of The Day

From one of the most flawless movies of all time, Clueless:
So okay, I don't want to be a traitor to my generation and all but I don't get how guys dress today. I mean, come on, it looks like they just fell out of bed and put on some baggy pants and take their greasy hair - ew - and cover it up with a backwards cap and like, we're expected to swoon? I don't think so!

Comment Of The Day

From this Cracked.com article, by soasertsus:
I never thought of "I'm too selfish to have kids." That seems like a good one. I don't want kids for several reasons, but to be honest I just don't like them. The thing is though, if you say you don't like kids you may as well be a monster on par with Adolf Hitler in some peoples eyes, which isn't preferable.
Sorry, Gladstone, I have to disagree with you. Some people are just too selfish to have kids. Although, come to think of it, many selfish people do have kids. Many stupid, selfish people.

ARGH

I have officially come to loathe my body. Not just the outer part, but the inner part. I mean, I have already hated my brain and digestive system for god knows how many years. One works too much, the other barely functions. But now other systems seem to want to go awry as well. I don't know what is going on. And as long as I have no medical, I will continue to not feel well. And as long I continue to not feel well, I won't have a job to get medical. It's lose-lose.

I started bleeding pretty heavy last night, which can supposedly be caused by stopping the pill. I feel awful. My chest is burning so bad. And this is not typical heartburn. This is the type of heartburn I get before my period, and nothing takes it away. I'm all cramped up like menstrual cramps. This seems like it is actually my period, but I don't know if it is.

I'm also still miserably bloated. And still mad at the scale. I want to know if this weight gain is water weight. I don't give a crap if it is water weight. It certainly is possible, if birth control causes you to retain water. The weekend of my birthday and then Christmas Eve and day, I ate a lot of salty foods that I could see causing massive water weight. I can imagine the salt content alone in Chili's and Friday's would be enough to do so. And I have been eating a lot of pretzels, ham, had quite a bit of nuts on Christmas day. Sometimes it amazes me (and also makes me worry) how I can eat so much damn salty food all the time and my blood pressure still runs on the low side of normal. I should have sky-high blood pressure. Everyone else in my family does. Then again, I drink 105 oz of water alone a day, so that probably flushes out a lot.

But anyway, yes, I did eat a lot those days, but I have eaten a lot worse in the past and did not gain weight. This is 5 pounds. That would be 17,500 extra calories. I doubt I ate that much those 4 days. And I am not someone who has no clue of what goes in my mouth. I am pretty well aware of the caloric content of every single thing that goes in my mouth.

And I did increase my exercising. The week of Christmas, I essentially did 2 and a half days of extra exercising. For the most part, my normal routine is 5 days a week, 30 minutes a day. If I am planning on eating over 2000 calories, I will usually do 45 minutes. I did 4 days straight of 45 minute sessions. I also did 45 minutes this past Saturday and on New Years Eve. That might have contributed to it. For some odd reason, my body is very sensitive to extra exercising. Not quite sure why. I know there are people out there who compensate for their bad eating by exercising for long periods of time. I have never been able to do that because it always backfires on me.

Oh and I am still pretty badly constipated. You're not helping, digestive system.

8:25PM: Yeah, I am starting to think this might actually be my period. My uterus feels like it's going to explode. Mother of God.
