Quote Of The Day

From "The Problem With Popplers":

Nd-Nd: We demand justice. As you ate our children, so shall you be eaten by us!
Lrrr: We will begin with the firemen, then the math teachers, and so on in that fashion until everyone is eaten. [He laughs and the others join in.]

Random Thoughts

I just want to know what the hell is wrong with me. I don't know what is going on, but it's really getting to me. This has been going on for several weeks, although for some strange reason, it seemed to disappear during my last time of the month. I am still having vertigo, still feeling like my heart is pounding, the area around my nose has a lot of pressure, my ears keep feeling like the pressure is building up (and then it subsides or eases up), my nose will start burning every so often (like when you get soap in it), I constantly feel like I am going to pass out, I feel drunk and out of balance whenever I am walking, I'm exhausted, my heart pounds and I feel lightheaded whenever I get up from sitting sometimes, I keep getting pains in my head that last a few seconds and occur in different spots, I am having a hard time concentrating, I am craving salt like a maniac. Overall I just feel off. There is no other way to describe it. Sunday I was so exhausted I just laid down on my bed and didn't move for a while. And then I finally got up to get a shower and when I was finished I had to go lie back down because I felt like I was going to pass out.

And of course, not knowing what is wrong with me is making me anxious, which in turn is exacerbating everything else. And I know I should go to the doctor, but I am tired of running to the doctor every time I think something is wrong and it always turning out to be nothing. And then I get an even worse complex about going to the doctor because I feel like a hypochondriac. I already feel like the episode of Futurama when Fry goes to the doctor and Zoidberg comes in and says oh look the hypochondriac is back or something of that nature.

And I am so stressed over losing my job in a few weeks and my insurance not long after that it's reaching unbearable levels. I started sobbing on Saturday over it and I felt this feeling in my sinus area not like anything I have ever felt. It burned and I got so congested, but not an actual stuffy nose or anything. It was weird. And since then, I have been an emotional trainwreck.

An Angry Letter To The Racist Bitch In Work

Dear Racist Bitch In Work:

Just....STOP. Enough is enough! We have a few weeks left of work! Why can't you make them fucking pleasant? I am stressed enough over how I have not been feeling good for several weeks and over losing my job and health insurance! I don't need your fucking petty ass shit right now! And tell me why, for someone who declares at least once a day that you just don't give a fuck about anything in the place anymore, you still continue to snitch on people and start trouble?

And newsflash- no one hates you because you are black. We hate you because you are a 36 year-old mother of two, soon to be grandmother, who acts like a middle school child, you are lazy as fuck, you are a snitch, you are a back stabber, and you have some of the worst work ethics I have ever seen. But by all means, go on. Keep playing all these little petty snitching games at your next job (and probably the others after that, because hopefully most places will not be as stupid as this one and allow you to get away with all of the goddamn shit you have gotten away with here). Keep it up in this day and age and one day you will piss off the wrong person.

FUCK YOU.

Sincerely,
S-Cubed

Picture(s) Of The Day

If there was a way I could print this out and blow it up to like super poster size, I would and then I would hang it up on one of the walls in my office. Or even better, I would have it printed on a bunch of t-shirts and wear one every single day to work until my last day and every time I make a mistake or am about to get in trouble for something, I will just point to my shirt:

The idea of me going into work with that shirt on just made me laugh so hard I almost choked. The realization of how many other people, including the ones not losing their job, would probably want a shirt made me laugh even harder. Also....this:

Random Thoughts

It astonishes me how quick the weekends go. All I know is I hope this week does not go as slowly as last week did. Last week dragged so bad. I felt like I was about to lose it in work.

I seriously am getting more and more excited about getting out of there. It's ridiculous and I hate that I am feeling this way, because I certainly do not want to be losing my job but I just cannot wait to get away from those people. I am so sick of the drama and backstabbing (although I have to face the fact, as well as hate knowing, that drama and backstabbing are both going to be awaiting me somewhere else). I am tired of working with people who are all older than me but have the maturity of grade schoolers. I saw more mature behavior when I worked in the two year old classroom in the daycare I worked at the summer after I graduated high school.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that my next job will contain coworkers who do stuff worthy of submitting to Monday Thru Friday. Now I know I am weird as anything, but I swear no one has any sense of humor in that place. I certainly want to work in a structured work place (which mine is not that either), but I want some frigging fun and jokes as well!

The other day I was discussing a new procedure with the racist bitch in work (I am now going to be doing my job before she does hers) and another coworker (one who I actually genuinely like) and the RB was saying how she hated having to wait to do her job and how she felt really bad making me have to wait and that one day I was there until 5 waiting for her. I wanted to laugh uproariously and say "hold on there honey- 1) I was there until 5:30 that day 2) it was 3 fucking files I had to wait on, which I know damn well you were taking your time doing because you knew I was pissed and 3) I also know damn well you do not feel one ounce of bad making me wait because if you did, you would worry about doing your job instead of texting, playing on Facebook, or talking to people who you hate and who hate you as well". Who is she kidding? I admit that I do have my share of dumb moments, but my mother did not raise a fool.

And speaking of foolishness....I am really kind of hoping this is just hormones talking right now, but for the past week or so, I have actually been worried over the current state of my mind. I am really scared I am going to go completely insane one of these days. The state I am in is very unpleasant and terrifying. There is a line from "You Will Leave A Mark" by A Silent Film that constantly rings through my head- "I am so ashamed of what I have become". And I have. Most of the times I am freaking out on someone, there is a voice in the back of my head saying what is wrong with you? What are you doing?! Stop! But it's like this demon just takes hold and won't let go. However, I almost to the point that if I cannot be completely sane and insanity would still be a more pleasant state than what I am in right now, I will take completely losing my mind.

Anyway, as promised, the screenshot of the Sitch's posting that has me completely convinced:

A lollipop, Mike? Seriously? Reality stars will take whatever comes their way, won't they?

I have so many gay and phallic jokes running through my head, I can't even think straight.

Picture(s) Of The Day

I actually just took a look at the link posted at the bottom of this page and....oh god.

http://www.davidmcclelland-photography.com/slideshows/mgmt/

I think all but two are of Andrew. I think one is a picture of Ben. But that's okay, because he is a cutie too. But am I terrible person for thinking "I bet that kid is Jewish" (he is) the first time I saw a picture of him? I swear on all that is holy that it was just a benign thought. It was one of those things that just popped into my head, and then I thought why did I just think that?

I can't stand it. Andrew is so freaking gorgeous! OMFG. And while there is something about Andrew that makes me feel really guilty talking dirty about him....could you imagine looking up and seeing this during sex (especially compared to picturing looking up and seeing this. Which reminds me. I saw a posting on his Facebook page that I will screen capture and write a posting about that basically says to me, if this kid is not gay, then I am not insane. Also, in case you have not noticed by now, Mike has officially been overthrown and dethroned as supreme ruler of my celebrity crush world. I don't know how it all went down, but I heard that it was peaceful and something about a rainbow poncho. But I promise you will never hear me talk about Andrew the way I talked about Mike. Why? Because there is something I have for Andrew that I do not and will never have for Mike. It's called respect.)? Sweet zombie Jesus. I can't even begin to IMAGINE the orgasm I would have. I also think I would have probably have a heart attack or stroke right afterwards. It's almost criminal for a boy to be that beautiful. And I don't care if he is totally ripping off My Chemical Romance or not (which I do see a strong resemblence between these pictures and "Welcome to the Black Parade" and while I'll admit Gerard Way is kind of hot (when he is not bleached blonde), Andrew is still significantly- no make that infinitely, more sexy).

I just look at pictures of him, with that too cute baby face and that sessy body and that adorable unruly mop of curls on his head that reminds me of the Shire, and all I can do is....is....is....is

I seriously have no idea what I would do if I ever came face to face with him. I'd probably squeal like a 12 year old girl. But that's disturbing. After all, I am only about 10 months younger than him. But WTF, I am sure he has met worse! Nah, I am sure I would [try to] behave myself. However, I may just tip toe the creepiness factor and ask him if I can touch his hair.

1:47AM:
GOD I AM SO FUCKING HORNY RIGHT NOW

AND THOSE PICTURES DID NOT HELP!

The Awesome Of The Day

Food From Your Past: Nostalgia Flashback : theBERRY

So much nostalgia. So much awesomeness.

Hidden Treasures was one of my favorite cereals, although I oddly always just liked the plain ones and not so much the fruit filled ones. And since they went off the shelves, I have spent many years trying to remember what the hell the little hexagon shaped granola-like sandwich things were called- Incredibites. Finally! I have a name! Loved those! And Fun Feasts! OMFG I loved those! I always ate the fried chicken ones. Roller coasters- loved em.

Now....I wish the list would have included Nintendo cereal and Pop Tart Minis. Oh man did I love Pop Tart Minis. The chocolate ones were the best.

Oh god I feel so fucking old right now.

Comment Of The Day

Wow. What was it the Robot Devil said? Ah yes! That was pretty brutal even by my standards! Although, to be fair, I could think of something a lot nastier to say than not wearing a condom. I'll give you a hint- it has nothing to do with condoms and everything to do with abortion.

When I read through the comments, I see plenty of examples of parents who made the mistake of not wearing condoms. Why in the hell are 99% of these people even allowed to be watching this show?! And I don't know what is worse- the nasty comments towards Mike or the ones that go "omg why do u losers like hiz page if all your gonna do iz hate?!!!! Get a life losers!". While I agree in questioning liking his page if all you are going to do is use derogatory terms, never EVER call someone else a loser or tell them to get a life if the Situation is your idol. Yes, people actually tell him that he is their idol. Or Snookie is. Whenever I read those comments, all I can think is, if I had a gun, I would blow my fucking brains out right this second. Or the other comments are along the lines of oh while we're all hating he's out there making money and laughing all the way to the bank. Big. Fucking. Deal. I would rather kill myself than do any of the crap he does. But then again, what doesn't do that? Simply looking in the mirror makes me want to kill myself.

For God's sakes, people. This is the future of this country?! FUCK!!!!!!! It's enough to make me want to go slam my head into a heavy wall! I swear to God, I think about suicide every single day of my life and I am starting to truly believe I need to just act on it, because judging by the way things are going, I don't see this dumbing down of America getting any better.

9:41PM: I just noticed his usage of the word "your" instead of "you're". AGAIN.

Another Angry Letter To The Weather Channel

Dear Weather Channel:

I love you. I have loved you since I was little, which in that sense tells me I should probably be a metereologist. I watch you at least twice a day and am on your website several times a day. I single handedly could have crashed both of these mediums on the weekend of Hurricane Irene.

Look, I understand you want to get people to PAY ATTENTION when weather warnings are issued. After all, surely not paying attention probably accounts for a lot of weather related deaths, doesn't it? But please, for the love of all that is holy, get rid of that annoying bleeping at the beginning of a warning when it is coming across the bottom of the TV screen!

On another note- did I hear Sublime playing during a local forecast report?

Sincerely,
A huge fan

Video Of The Day

Radio 104.5 is the first place I ever heard this song and it was always one of those songs I would never say I disliked, but was just kind of meh on. And then one time it came on and I don't know what it was about that particular moment that I finally came to appreciate it:

And now that I think about it wasn't even until further in the song, when the male solo vocal starts, when I finally realized just how truly great this song is:

As it withers
Brittle it shakes
Can you whisper
As it crumbles and breaks
As you shiver
Count up all your mistakes
Pair of forgivers
Let go before it's too late
Can you whisper

Random Thoughts

Now that I can finally get around to explaining those two posts with the Super Fuuu guy pictures. The first one was after having to stay over an hour after my shift ended waiting for three files to be prepped (a job that should take 20 minutes at the most). The second one was obviously in response to finding out my job was being terminated and in response to my teeth bothering me.

So yeah, I am losing my job. We had a meeting and I had a feeling when the meeting was first mentioned that it was not going to be good news. Generally not many meetings in our office involve as many people as were emailed about it. That was the big tip off to me. As soon as the head honcho mentioned that most of the work that is normally done in our place was going to be done somewhere else, I immediately knew my job was going to be one of those jobs. I was sick to my stomach. All I could think while I was sitting there was, I can't believe this, I am losing my job.

I am not going to deny that a small part of me is a little relieved. But losing a job in this economy and after finally feeling like you are a little back on your feet again is a huge blow. There was a lot I hated about it, although I'd say 99% of the hatred was all of the drama in the office, but I didn't mind my actual job all that much (it was just a little boring at times) and I thought the company was a pretty decent place to work for. I was offered a position at the other place, but I can't do that commute. It would not be worth it, between gas, tolls, wear and tear, and what I get paid.

And the thing that made me the most sick (talk about screwed up priorities) was when I realized unless by some miracle he appears before I leave, I am never going to get to see MGG again. I felt like my heart was literally going to burst when I realized that. I cried instead. I cried a lot that day. I cried that I was losing my job. I cried seeing other people cried. I cried over never possibly seeing MGG again. I cried because I didn't feel good. And then the whole damn dam burst open in my head and a million other things flooded into my head and I cried over them too.

I went to the doctors tonight, which I didn't see my normal doctor and did not care very much for the doctor I saw. The whole visit has me in a Super Fuuu mood so I am not going to discuss it right now (a Super Fuuu mood, as I have named it, is when I am so angry over something that discussing it is just not wise unless I want to wind up either in a psychiatric facility again or in a regular hospital after having a heart attack or stroke, both of which I am surprised I have not had yet). Apparently I have benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, though.

Quote Of The Day

From "Crimes Of The Hot":
Amy: Professor Farnsworth, you're a scientist!
Farnsworth: Forget it, I'm not going! I have my reasons! Shut up, all of you!
Hermes
: Strange. You haven't acted this suspicious since I found those "ape bones" in the basement.
Farnsworth: My hip hurts! I'm in the middle of cooking a turkey! I have warranty cards to fill out! I am not just making excuses! Alright, I'll go!

Stupid Mouth

Good god my mouth tastes bad. I apparently had two cavities and had the one filled today. All I keep smelling is the god awful "drilling of my teeth" smell and it's making me want to vomit. My anxiety is also up and will be so the next few days over developing some kind of infection (I was told by a cardiologist years ago that I had a heart murmur and when the dentist found out, I was required to be checked out by a doctor before I could come back. I had an ultrasound done that ruled out having a murmur, but whether or not I have one, I don't know. But it makes me nervous going to the dentist now). And now I have to do it all over again on Thursday.

FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU Part II

I'm losing my job.

Also, in addition to those symptoms I bitched about before, my upper left gum is swollen and a tooth that has been bothering me for years on the bottom is bothering me again, and now I have a nasty taste in my mouth, so I got an appointment with the dentist tomorrow. Might as well take care of whatever it is before I lose my insurance. If this is my one single wisdom tooth finally deciding to give me trouble (if it's on the upper left; still can't remember), well then.....
