Chips? Surely there are better things in the world that could have been hurled at her. Surely someone in the audience had to have been wearing a heavy heeled shoe that could have been aimed right for that giant fivehead of hers. Of course now I just thought of that video of MGMT at the US Open of Surfing when James tells everyone to throw their left shoe (who is he? Stitch?!) and one shoe comes flying at warp speed and just NAILS him. That was hilarious.

Yeah, keep on pissing off your fans, Rihanna. And then she stands there and acts like she did nothing wrong. Oh no. Showing up late to a concert without a justified reason for the umpteenth time is not cool. I'll let MGMT slide for a lot of things, but if they showed up hours late to a concert because they just didn't feel like getting there on time, I would be livid. Like maximum livid, where I'd come home and throw my CDs, my 2 t-shirts, and my tickets from Musikfest into a bin and light them on fire. Then I would delete all of their songs and the 785 pictures of them off of my computer. Yes, I said 785 pictures. Don't judge me. She just keeps on biting the hand that feeds her, which frankly I hope she keeps it up so that one day the ungrateful cow ends up flat-ass broke. Self-centered cocky "celebrities" like her are a joy to watch fall from grace. As for the "epic fail" comment, the only "epic fail" in this situation is that this alien-headed idiot is even a celebrity.

Oh No They Didn't! - What the heck???

I got the chills when I read this. I don't even watch Glee, but I have heard of him and do remember hearing about him being in rehab a few months ago. If this is true, that is sad. Mental illness and addiction are both evil bitches. It's morbid to think, but I can't help but wonder when someone is found dead of an overdose if it was truly accidental or if it was suicide.

People are free to put whatever they want into their own bodies (as long as it doesn't affect others- ahem, smokers- and the person putting the stuff into their bodies takes full accountability for their consequences, e.g. people who eat fast food every day and then get fat as hell and have heart attacks), but when it turns into this, that is when I find it troublesome. And why I get a little uneasy when hearing MGMT still does drugs. Maybe they don't take anything that can be deemed addictive, and I would think they would be smart enough to not move onto anything harder. But it still could happen. If I ever came on the internet and found out one of them died of an overdose, I don't even know what I would do. I do know I would be completely distraught, though.

On a slightly unrelated note, they posted something on FB earlier about other tour dates and I see they are playing Portland, OR in September. They played in Portland, OR in May. Really, boys? All the fucking places in this country and you play Portland twice? JFC. And I swear, if August 5th rolls around and is a beautiful day, I am going to roundhouse kick someone in the stomach.
