The WTF Of The Day

'Bigger Boobies' Hallmark Card For 13-Year-Olds Provokes Angry Protests On Twitter

That card is stupid. What in the hell was the person thinking who created that? I find Hallmark cards offensive anyway. For one, they have been putting out the same cards forever. Every time I shop there (if I have no choice but to buy a card there), I have to spend about 5 minutes trying to figure out if I have bought it before. And second, have you seen some of the stupid ass events they sell cards for? There is a whole line of "Mommy" cards and they are the stupidest things I have ever seen in my life. All full of "sanctimommy" and "woe is me I decided to procreate".

You know what offends me the most about this article? The morons in the comments. The ones who are whining and crying that this nation has turned into a bunch of whining and crying politically correct babies while simultaneously using the section as their platform to whine about the war on Christmas. I am so sick of hearing about this stupid fucking war on Christmas. I think everyone is ridiculous in the whole situation, but face it- it's America. There is more than Christianity in this nation. We are giving the freedom to practice whatever religion we want. So everyone else is allowed to be offended, just as long as the pwecious wittle Christians aren't offended? Get bent.

On another note, I have fell completely in love with this jacket (the black and white). I WANT.

The Stupid Of The Day

Ellen DeGeneres Ad: One Million Moms Angry Over JC Penney Christmas Commercial

Pot calling the kettle black, but.....Jesus, you people are sad. I really hope the Mayans are right.

You know what was my first thought when I saw this commercial? Holy God, they said Merry Christmas at the end, now the war on Christmas morons can't bitch at them this year. I don't remember if it was last year or the year before, but at the holidays, I went on Penney's Facebook page and people were ripping them multiple assholes over them saying happy holidays. I can't recall the last time my eyes rolled so hard.

And speaking of which, if one of my cousins posts one more picture like these on Facebook, I am going to put my foot up someone's ass:

"War" Is Declared Once Again

Cripes. I almost forgot about this yearly nonsense:

Fox News' 'War On Christmas' Returns (VIDEO)

"We don't attack any other religion"? Are you for real, Doreen? Really. Are you fucking kidding me? I can't even with this. This whole situation....it's just embarrassing now. And I am not just referring to the war on Christmas whiners. I am referring to the people out there who do actually get offended by what someone wishes them. It's still no damn war, though. The war on Christmas whiners need to pull their heads out of their ass. If there is anything they need to be pissed about, it's how Christmas has gone from being about the birth of Jeebus to a materialistic nightmare.

Come on- a holiday tree? For heaven's sake, people.

Quote Of The Day

From this cracked.com article, DOB on the War On Christmas:
I think one year, in one town, in one store -- years ago -- employees were instructed to say "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas." And we, as a nation, have been paying for it ever since.
Ah, yes. The good ol' War On Christmas. I could think of a bazillion things that are taking Christ out of Christmas, yet somehow saying "Happy Holidays" seems to be the only thing.

Fuck you Bill O'Rielly, for ever starting this shit.

Random Thoughts

Boo! It's Sunday! *blows loud raspberry*

I want any skinny people to tell me how they manage to stay warm in the winter months. I am so fucking cold and no matter what I do, I cannot get warm. I can barely recall the last time, with the exception of vacation in Myrtle Beach, when the words "I am so hot" came out of my mouth. It's not like I have no body fat, for God's sake. I had substantial bloodwork done in August ($855 worth!) and all come back in normal ranges, so I am not anemic or have a hypothyroid.

Ugh, everyone is getting on me about a Christmas list. I cannot think of absolutely anything I want and I have to come up with a birthday list as well! I have had this problem for a very long time. I am very anal about owning a lot of things, so it always makes it difficult to come up with a list. This is why I always laugh when people ask me if I ever feel like I get ripped off at the holidays. Noo. My only complaint is plenty of people seem to forget about my birthday.

I wish that spawn of Palin would STFU. It's bad enough we have to hear from Mommy Dearest constantly. Now her too? Like mother, like daughter. Defensive as shit, always flying off the handle yet never ONCE actually denying what they are being accused of. Reminds me of me. I do crap like that. And we all know I am fucking nuts.

I once was almost feeling sorry for her with all of the weight jokes being tossed around, but the way she was behaving the last few weeks, any sympathy flew out the window. How does someone spend so much time dancing and gain weight like that? I mean, look at me for example. I am a freak of nature. Do you know how some people will eat bad and then compensate by over exercising? I cannot compensate my bad eating with exercising. For some reason, if I go above 30 minutes of exercise, 5 days a week, I tend to hold weight or even gain weight. The summer of 2009, I went through a brief period where I was doing that. I am talking a little bit of overeating and spending an hour or more exercising because I felt so horrible and guilty for overeating. And I actually gained weight! But I have never ballooned up like this bitch. The most I gained was 2 to 5 pounds and it might have been muscle for all I know. It takes an extra 3500 calories to gain a pound! How many calories a day was she consuming? About 20,000?

On a side note, I am very proud to say I have not engaged in any bulimic behavior since September. And I have actually lost weight! Huzzahs are in order!

Last week, some controversey blew up in Philly about the renaming of some wooden shack stores from "Christmas Village" to "Holiday Village" or something (I actually was there last year and I almost died of a heart attack on the spot when I came upon a stand that was literally bursting with nesting dolls) and then it concluded with the original name being kept. Yeah, I thought it was kind of stupid to change the name, but ugh, did the War On Christmas soldiers come charging out of the woodwork. I am beyond the point of being sick of hearing about this crap every year.

UGH! I wish everyone would just STFU.

I was reading the GQ article on the Sitch being the Burning Sensation of The Year, or whatever he was nominated for, and I came across a photo gallery and there was THIS. Two thoughts ran through my head- the first thing I thought was, dayum, does he have a penchant for tight pants or something? The second thing I thought was, what, no sock this time around, Mike?

*tilts head and leans closer to screen* I don't know; what do you all think? Was that definitely a sock in the last set of girl pants? I think it was.

Ha. He's all sweaty in that picture. Makes me think of the sketch from Kids In The Hall when the Chicken Lady and the Bearded Lady go to the strip club and Chicken Lady says "and I stuck a quarter in his belly button and it stayed there. Wanna know why? 'Cause he was sweaty" or something like that. Man, that was one of the BEST KITH sketches. My sister never even cracked a smile at any of the KITH sketches, but even she laughed at that one.

And I like how light conveniently shines across his chest and part of his abs. I half expected heavenly music to start blaring out of my computer speakers.

Hey! Why do not I not recall ever seeing this issue in work? Oh. Right. Hm. I'll have to see if my local library has an issue so I can read about the Situation's "diva antics".

lol- diva antics. I'd love to know just how much of a drama queen that boy is.

Random Thoughts

Very shortly, the entire holiday season is going to be over and I am ready to tear my hair out. I can actually feel my breath catching in my chest like I am going to have a panic attack. This is not normal at all. God, I really wish I knew why it bothers me so much. Everything just sucks from now on. Winter comes, with its dark bleaknesss. Then spring and summer comes, which are nice until all of the severe thunderstorm and tornados watches and warnings start rolling in. Really my only favorite time of the year is right after Halloween.

The only reasons I look forward to the end of the holiday season are 1) no car insurance payment for a couple months and 2) a temporary end to the War on Christmas bullshit. I saw a clip of Bill-O the other day interviewing Sarah Palin and what came out of his mouth nearly gave me a heart attack. I never seen someone who can say smart things and assinine things like him. I want to simultaneously shake his hand and punch him in the face (mostly because of this "war on Christmas" stuff). When I listen to the pro-war on Christmas crowd- which generally consists of those who, as Obama said, cling to guns and religion (come on and give me a fucking break! you know you all do!)- getting their panties into a bunch over it, it makes me wonder that if God and Jesus themselves were to come down and say they could give a rat's ass what people wish each other, if they would even listen. Something tells me no. I also am starting to believe that if Glenn Beck of Manitee or the rest of the "Love America Or Else Conservatives" were to get on national TV and tell their following that the librul media lies and says we need our brains and that they themselves proved that they really don't, the people would all rip their own brains out.

Speaking of brains, I saw a comic one day that showed what a liberal brain looks like and since this publication is something that is obviously with or against- meaning if you are not wishing for a four way with Palin, Limbaugh, and Beck, then you are a liberal; therefore, according to this publication, that makes me a liberal- it said at the area of the spinal cord, that in a liberal, it has been replaced (by what, I do not remember), so there goes ever getting my wish. God dang it!

I am trying to get very serious about going back to school and I printed out the class list for accounting technology and I almost burst in to tears when I realized that even with all of the classes I have taken, I still have 12 classes left to take. And I would have had Anatomy lab done had the semester I taken it I did not decide to make the genius move of quitting an Effexor cold turkey and ultimately sending myself to hell (I panicked so bad at the thought of failing lab despite having a fucking A average at the time that I just dropped it, a decision I have and will regret for the rest of my life). I am also very upset that I am required to take Public Speaking as a general ed. Its great that my school bumped up the AAS programs to 6 credits of English (better to transfer with), but why on earth would they require the second class to be Public Speaking? I can't take Public Speaking. I have a panic attack at the thought of it.

I normally don't like to talk about it, but this menstrual cycle has been a fucking nightmare. I don't ever recall having one so bad. Physically and mentally, more the latter than the former. I have not been able to stop crying. I will be fine one second and then I will start to cry and I can't stop and just everything on fucking planet earth makes me cry.

I want to send an email to an online pal, but I have sent a few since September and all of have gone unanswered. I don't know if he has been away from the internet, he no longer wants to speak, or god forbid, something happened to him. He wasn't well to begin with and despite never knowing him personally, I will be very upset if something happened to him. Really the only person on earth who has some inkling of what I feel. Sam, if you are still out there and you ever got around to reading this batch of insanity and I said anything to upset you, I am truly sorry.

Quote Of The Day

This comment from Fox Nation announces first shots fired in annual War on Christmas

Merry holiday. I like that!

And then this quote from Bill-o on Media Matters (I found it on Wiki, so whether it is true or not, although it does actually have a source):
vile propaganda outfit....which specializes in distorting comments made by politicians, pundits, and media people
All that comes to mind are the phrases "it takes one to know one and " and "pot calling the kettle black". It's basically akin to me going to a crazy farm and telling everyone there that they are all fucking nuts. I was not aware I knew so many damn conservatives, but I swear if I read one more "religious folk" whining about this war on Christmas bullshit on Facebook, I am going to kick my computer out the window. This bullshit every fucking year is annoying me so much, I almost wish someone would try to change the name of Christmas just so maybe these people will explode in anger and then we don't have to hear them whine and cry every year.

And what is this bullcrap of no Botax? Why is plastic surgery not taxed anyway? Last time I checked it is a luxury. It is not a necessity. Why the fuck is it tax free? This quote is genius from some crap wacko the head of some crap wacko group:
These women come in, they've lost their jobs, they don't have the money for a facelift
Oh boohoo. Remind me to cry and pray for those women when I go to bed tonight. I am 25 years old and I have the boobs of a 50 year-old woman due to gaining and losing weight (hey, 2 years ago I was pushing a DD; now I am at a comfortable B and a half) and despite my intense hatred of tit jobs, I would love something done, but you don't see me whining and crying every night before bed over not being able to afford it. Because frankly I dont even care.

Here's an idea- stop being so fucking shallow! The only time I could support no tax is it if is done on someone who really needs it. A burn victim, for example.

Quote Of The Day

From today's Courier-Post, a letter written by Lumberton resident Barbara K. Lamb:
Oh, I am so sick and tired of hearing the clamor over the use of the greeting "Happy holidays." I am a Catholic Christian. However, my first office job many years ago was at an electrical supply company owned by Jews.

They were kind enough to supply Christmas decorations for their Christian workers, but because many of their clients were Jewish, we were instructed to answer the phones by saying "Happy holidays." What's wrong with that?

Holiday is a derivation of the words "holy" and "day." If Christmas is not a holy day, then what is it? A commercial day? Santa Claus day? No. It is a holy day.

I have many non-Christian friends and see nothing wrong with saying "Happy holidays" to them. I once wished a co-worker a Merry Christmas and she said, "thank you, but it's not my holiday; I'm Jewish." She was polite about it, but it reminded me that we in the United States are a melting pot of different nationalities, races and religions and we should be more conscientious about that.

As for "liberals" being "less generous" -- whoever came up with that idea? I am a so-called liberal and try to be as generous as my income allows. My children are also liberals.

When my daughter got a really good job, she signed up for a "box program," which helped to support a poor family in Mississippi. My sons' incomes really don't allow for much generosity, but they do the best they can.

If all people would stop complaining about every little thing about other people this world would be a much better place.

Amen, Barbara. I have a hard time believing the liberals are less generous hoo-ha as well. Look at all of the money celebrities donate and how many of them are liberals?

Random Thoughts

Woohoo! One more week until Thanksgiving! I can't remember where I read it- I think maybe the Daily News- but someone wrote in one day, whining about people calling Thanksgiving "Turkey Day" and how it is disrespectful to the true meaning of Thanksgiving. Give me a break.

This political correctness shit is getting out of hand. You can't say mankind because it's offensive to radical feminists and you can't say someone is in a wheelchair, you have to say they use a wheelchair and you can't say retarded because you'll offend a retarded person, but it's perfectly okay to use constant derogatory terms towards the mentally ill. It's as bad as the people, e.g. Bill O'Rielly and 99% of my NASCAR community buddies, who whine about Christmas and people who say Happy Holidays. I could punch O'Rielly for ever starting that shit. Enough with the paranoia rhetoric; no one is trying to take the Christ out of Christmas. Whether or not this country was founded on Christianity, it's 2008. There are more than just Christians in this country now. When I worked in any job detailing customer service, I said happy holidays for one reason- to signify whatever holiday they celebrated and a happy New Year. If the Christians just absolutely need something to get so hung up over or their heads will explode, get hung up over how Christmas has goen from the day Jesus was born to the day of spoil my already spoiled rotten bastard child who I never pay attention to so I have to make up for it by showering them with materialism.

I wonder what would happen if a Jewish person wished a Christian a Happy Hanukkah.

Read this: Reject Religious Right’s Divisive ‘War On Christmas’ Rhetoric

Continuing on, I received an email the other day that stated that the Constitution does not say anything about the separation of church and state. It may not say it in those exact words, but it is definitely in there. It's called the First Amendment and it blantantly states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion". But I guess for the likes of these people, if it's not spelled out clearly, it does not say it.

I also like this: Dear Red States....

I should seriously consider sending that to my nice Republican friends who send me nice emails that state that one is voting Democrat because their head is up their ass.
