Supreme Court: Religious rights trump birth control rule
FUCK YOU, SUPREME COURT. I don't give a flying fuck who is liberal or conservative in making this decision. I want to know how many were MEN.
Also, when are people going to learn that birth control is used for more than just CONTROLLING BIRTH?! Here! Educate yourselves!

NOOOOOOOOO!
I didn't want to believe it was true before, but
Dan Cathy, Chick-Fil-A President, On Anti-Gay Stance: 'Guilty As Charged'
Chick-Fil-A, I AM DISAPPOINT
Luckily, I don't eat there that often. I only go because I get coupons in the mail every so often for a free sandwich. Apparently I am in the minority, because I love Chick-Fil-A. I think their chicken sandwiches and waffle fries are good. I also like their hospitality. I have never received rude treatment at any of my local Chick-Fil-As. Everyone always goes out of their way.
I kept hearing it, and I suspected it was true due to their whole being closed on Sunday shtick, but I kept blinders up. But hey! Go ahead and be against gay marriage! If you want to stand there and preach that marriage should be between a man and a woman only, then by all means, be my guest! Allow for fat ass urinal cakes to wed troll-faced dumbasses for 72 days, because what does it matter? It's still between a man and a woman! God, I hate this world.
Boy, I wish I could get in office one day. I'd ban all marriage.
I just read some article over on Yahoo about that Olympic dude with no legs (too lazy to look up the name again) bagging some Russian model. Oh, look at that. What a surprise. Dude gets famous and the models start coming out of the woodwork, and then suddenly that will be all he will date. JUST LIKE SOMEONE ELSE I KNOW. Anyway, the comment section has my sides hurting from laughing. I am surely ensuring my trip to hell more and more.

The WTF Of The Day
Boehner Hate Crimes Position: Sexual Orientation A Choice But Religion Isn't
Religion isn't a choice?
WHAT on EARTH is this man babbling about? Even if it did end up turning out that sexual orientation is a choice (which it isn't), how is religion not a choice?
It's all good, though. By next week, he'll have some other bullshit to spew. Quite possibly the complete opposite of what he just said. Afterall, that seems like all many Republicans do. One week, they say one thing. The next week, it's the complete opposite. Or god forbid, they offend Rush Limbaugh. Then it consists of insult Rush Limbaugh, then apologize for it.

The Bitch, Please! Of The Day
Right-Wing Protesters: Birth Control Will Kill You
Remember, though- these people aren't extremists. Blowing up abortion clinics and blowing people's guts out- in the middle of God's house, nonetheless....no, they are absolutely nothing like the radical Islamic terrorists we are currently trying to (and more than likely never will) defeat.
Gee, I never realized that now a killing takes place even if the gamates haven't combined! Really now. How dare women not have that egg fertilized!
Sorry, not all of us have Michelle Duggar fantasies. Some of us women actually decided to live in the post-feminist movement era and not be stay at home breeding machine men slaves. As the saying goes, if that makes us wrong then we do not want to be right.
Sarah Palin Launches New Attacks on Government Stimulus
Absolute nonsense? I'll tell you what is absolute nonsense, Sarah. You ever being picked for vice presidential candidate. You preaching about the wonders of abstinence while not only having your whore daughter get knocked up (possibly twice) out of wedlock, but you more than likely getting knocked up out of wedlock as well. That all the radical gun-bearers are so panicky and frantic over losing their precious guns because of big ol' bad Muslim liberal socialist Obama, even though I haven't heard a peep from Obama about guns since election time (and if someone can provide me with a reputable link arguing against that, I will retract that statement). That we are even still seeing you in the news. And the biggest piece of absolute nonsense? You ever being allowed to become a political figure in the first place.
Hey, Sarah, do you want to know what else is absolute nonsense? Being given no choice but to resign from a job that it took you 2 years to obtain. And then when a company supervisor questions it, the bitch trainer tells her that you quit because you flunked one of the tests. Tests that you scored almost perfect fucking scores on. That is absolute nonsense, Sarah.
And thanks to an unexpected case of the nasties, I found this over on lamebook.com and normally I am not someone who jokes around about suicide, but Caleb's response is so dry and unheartfelt that it made me bust up laughing. Seriously, though- are you that starved and desperate for attention that you have to threaten suicide on friggin' Facebook?

Quote Of The Day
Cock full of witty rebuttals....Cajun Boy on the apparent "tea baggin" party:
God, every day I pray that this country would just split up already. Let the rightwing nutbags have their precious little theocracy where women will become slaves to men and pop out a hundred babies left and right just like that stupid Duggar woman and now her stupid daughter-in-law as well. If God wanted us to have that many babies, maybe He should have made Earth a little more suitable for billions or more of humans.
And if TV is evil, why do you have a TV show?
Hey look...a bunch of "real Americans" got together somewhere in Ohio recently to talk about doing patriotic things like not paying taxes and throwing tea bags at the American flag or something, because that's what heartland conservatives do to show how patriotic they are! Funny how whenever someone runs off to Canada to avoid losing their life in a ill-conceived war that person is branded a traitor, while abstaining from paying taxes because the guy you didn't vote for is the president is somehow considered to be an act of patriotism, isn't it?I wasn't old enough to pay attention to politics when Bill Clinton was brought into office. Were the rightwing nutbags this nutty then?

Quote Of The Day
Cajun Boy, writer of Cajun Boy In The City blog, on the CPAC:
*busts up laughing* How could I forget? Most don't care once it's popped out of the woman's womb!
I truly am starting to feel sorry for any Republicans that are not like these crazy ass Conservatives that they have to be lumped into the same category as them. I also feel sorry for any people who are true Conservatives and not the "We worship the geniusness of Sarah Palin, Sean Hannity, Joe the Plumber, and Rush Limbaugh" ones. I like this article:
The Death Of Conservatism
I also love this absolute ass whooping article:
An Open Letter To All Republicans From A Former Religious Right Activist
I haven't made mention of it previously, but there was a convention of sorts this week that brought together the very elements of the Republican Party that are destroying it, the Sarah Palin/Joe the Plumber extra chromosome faction of the extreme right wing, at the annual CPAC meeting held in Washington DC. This is where all of the kookiest of kooks get together to wring their hands over the nation's lack of Jesus, tax cuts, and, naturally, abortion. Or "infanticide," which seems to be their new favorite term for it. Regardless, it's all about abortion for these idiots.Right. Who cares if the economy is going to hell and millions of people are losing their jobs, homes, and health insurance as a result as long as clumps of cells are allowed to continue to be destroyed? Maybe many pro-life people need to start thinking about all of the babies and children that are suffering due to the bad economy. Maybe they need to think about the babies and children who have no health insurance because their parents are being laid off and losing their coverage. Maybe they need to think of the babies in children in places like Africa, where they are dying of starvation and horrible diseases like ebola. Do they ever stop to think of these innocent lives?

Random Thoughts
Woohoo! One more week until Thanksgiving! I can't remember where I read it- I think maybe the Daily News- but someone wrote in one day, whining about people calling Thanksgiving "Turkey Day" and how it is disrespectful to the true meaning of Thanksgiving. Give me a break.
This political correctness shit is getting out of hand. You can't say mankind because it's offensive to radical feminists and you can't say someone is in a wheelchair, you have to say they use a wheelchair and you can't say retarded because you'll offend a retarded person, but it's perfectly okay to use constant derogatory terms towards the mentally ill. It's as bad as the people, e.g. Bill O'Rielly and 99% of my NASCAR community buddies, who whine about Christmas and people who say Happy Holidays. I could punch O'Rielly for ever starting that shit. Enough with the paranoia rhetoric; no one is trying to take the Christ out of Christmas. Whether or not this country was founded on Christianity, it's 2008. There are more than just Christians in this country now. When I worked in any job detailing customer service, I said happy holidays for one reason- to signify whatever holiday they celebrated and a happy New Year. If the Christians just absolutely need something to get so hung up over or their heads will explode, get hung up over how Christmas has goen from the day Jesus was born to the day of spoil my already spoiled rotten bastard child who I never pay attention to so I have to make up for it by showering them with materialism.
I wonder what would happen if a Jewish person wished a Christian a Happy Hanukkah.
Read this: Reject Religious Right’s Divisive ‘War On Christmas’ Rhetoric
Continuing on, I received an email the other day that stated that the Constitution does not say anything about the separation of church and state. It may not say it in those exact words, but it is definitely in there. It's called the First Amendment and it blantantly states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion". But I guess for the likes of these people, if it's not spelled out clearly, it does not say it.
I also like this: Dear Red States....
I should seriously consider sending that to my nice Republican friends who send me nice emails that state that one is voting Democrat because their head is up their ass.

More Good News, Everyone!
Robert F. Kennedy: Environmental Protection Agency Head?
Oh, Obama, please pick him! This will really make my week! I am in the middle of Crimes Against Nature and I think he would really do a good job. I don't get why on review sites a lot of people think he rants too much in the book; I guess as someone who rants a lot as well wouldn't see it. To be honest, I have never been much of an environmentalist. I am not an anti-environmentalist, far from it, but I have never been one to chain myself to trees or anything like that. But the stuff I am reading that the Bush Administration is allowing to happen is depressing. I suspect Cheney has more to do with it than Bush.
God! I still cannot believe he won! It still hasn't sunk in. Call me sadistic, but I never felt so much pleasure looking through the Huffington Post's slideshow of McCain supporters after the election was called. Now they know how we have felt the past 2 elections, although the big difference is, we won the election fair and square. We won by not behaving extremely dirty (frankly, I don't even see where Obama EVER played "dirty"). We won by not suppressing voters.
In the last weeks of the election, I worried about a few things- 1. an extremely damaging October surprise, 2. election stealing and 3. a possible Bradley effect (I was starting to worry that the constant talking of it would make people actually start to bring on a Bradley effect; you know how gullable the population is; they hear something and then start to mimic it, like when some idiot decides to shoot up a school, then for the next few weeks, you end up with multiple copycats). Back after the Republican Convention, I was depressed as hell. I kept thinking, we are going to lose this. Again. People are going to vote for someone because they think with their dicks, neverminding the fact that McCain is the candidate.
Most McCain supporters are some of the most hateful people I have ever been acquainted with. It astonishes me, especially with the ones that call themselves good Christians. McCain mentions his name and the crowd boos last night. Did you hear any booing when Obama mentioned McCain? No. What McCain supporters think will become of this country is absurd. Like we really want the religious right pushing their backwards ass ways on us. I don't know what Americans want from a president. Grow up. They're never going to do everything you want. I may be a Democrat, but I do not support illegal immigration. Do any of my candidates feel the same way? No, but it's less I disagree with than with most Republican candidates. Tell me again what Bush has done to stop illegal immigration. Because I don't know about any of you, but all I see in the state of NJ is illegal immigrants. And not ones that want to work.
What makes me laugh the most is when college students cry about socialism and Obama. A present college student making $250,000 a year? Get real. What's the matter? Are you mad that Mommy and Daddy won't be able to spoil you as much? Darn. I guess you'll have to learn responsibility.
Back before I watched NASCAR, I was one of those people who believed the stereotype of dumb redneck, racist Republican hillbillies being their base crowd. When I started to watch it, I dismissed the stereotype. Then, as I got more into and met fans on their community, I realized just how much the stereotype rings true. And my NASCAR friends on Myspace just further proved my point.

Steam Ahead
Palin Explains What Parts of Country Not "Pro-America"
You know what? FUCK YOU, Sarah. I hardly think you have the nerve to stand there and preach who and what is and isn't pro-American when you are married to a man who was part of a group that does not even want to be part of the United States. Let's talk about how American someone is when they want to defy the Constitution by reuniting church and state.
Hey, Dick Cheney, do you need a new hunting partner?
I went to see the Real Pirates exhibit at the Franklin Institute last night and I wasn't aware of the strong link between the pirates and slavery. The exhibit displayed shackles kept to keep the slaves in place and a branding iron and while I was looking at it, I thought, you know, what ever gave white people the idea that they were so superior to other races? What gall did we have to buy people and use them for our own good? I don't get it. I really don't.
Why am I so cranky? Because for the second time this week, I open my Yahoo mailbox and find a Democrat-bashing email from someone I have already confronted about it, back in the primaries about sending me political emails. I don't want them! Why is that so fucking hard to comprehend?
Another reason I am so cranky is that lovely thing all of us women have to face once a month has braced me with it's horrible prescence. A good predictor of when it's coming is by my mood. I become a horrible person. I mean, worse than usual. Since January of this year, I have to dread every time it comes because I get so horrible. I feel horrible physically, mentally, emotionally.
The last reason I am cranky is simply, I wish election day was over already. Politics is an ugly monster. You discover it and become sucked into it. I come on to the computer just to check my mail and next thing I know, 4 hours have passed. It's ridiculous and the cure will not come for another 18 days.

The Wrath Of McCain
I never minded John McCain much in the beginning. I mean, I didn't want him, that was for certain. When he chose Sarah Palin, I got all but 5 minutes to give her a chance. Frankly, I am still trying to find what was so great about her convention speech that people just absolutely rave about and I think I may be searching a long time for an answer. All I heard was a bunch of Obama slamming and praising of herself and nothing about what the McCain Administration would do for the country. I thought less of John McCain, but after watching the debates, I can finally see why people say he is truly a scary man that should not be anywhere near the White House.
I am referring to his temper, of course. As someone with a pretty explosive temper, I know I certainly would not want me to be near the WH. I would be a president who if a foreign leader even so much as gave me a dirty look, I would be declaring war. If someone as mild as Obama could get under McCain's skin the way he does, can you imagine McCain talking with Middle Eastern or Russian leaders? We would probably be in a hundred different wars.
I keep thinking about the idiots who scream "kill him!" and "off with his head!" (what is this? fucking Alice in Wonderland?) and I have to wonder if these blockheads ever think of Obama's children when they are screaming this? Just take a minute and picture yourself one of the girl's ages and hearing people screaming "kill him!" about your father. Pretty upsetting, isn't it?
I am going to leave you with a message from Lady Miss Kier:

Get With The Times Already
My night time routine has changed once again and now at 1:00AM I watch Countdown with Keith Olberman and at 2AM, I watch the Rachel Maddow Show. Last night, during a commercial break, I happened to switch over to and a reporter was at a McCain/Palin rally and he was talking to a group of women, all decked out in their Palin best, and I heard the same thing over and over- Obama is a terrorist, he's dangerous, blah blah blah. And then they showed a man with a sign with SARAH written on it and each letter spelled out a word (I can't remember what the hell that is called) and another typical asshole of calling Obama is a terrorist. I love these people that stand there and say, "well, how can you believe everything that comes out of Obama's mouth?". How can you necessarily believe everything that comes out of McCain's or Fox Noise's or that 4 eyed bitch's mouth? These people have the nerve to stand there and bitch about how people worship Obama? Have they ever stopped and looked at how they worship Palin? If she got up on stage and shot McCain and her entire family to a bloody pulpit, they would still love her. They would still adore her and they would blame the evil rotten liberal media for their murders.
Look, I knew there were still people in the country who hate others solely on the color of their skin, but I never realized it was so prevalent. And it's sad, it really is. It's extemely disappointing to know that in 2008, there are still this many hateful people. And what bothers me the most is these people have the gall to call themselves good Christians. It is not your place to judge people on their actions nor is it your place to kill others. If abortion is a sin in the eyes of the Lord, then He will decide the punishment come the person's dying day. Not you. If God says thou shall not kill, he means thou shall not kill. I doubt He will tell people to kill others. How can anti-choice people preach about the life of a fetus when they blow up abortion clinics, which I would imagine contain patients in there waiting for their appointment? And what's inside that patient? The very fetus the anti-choice people are bitching about the death of.
