Happy St. Patrick's Day!Look, I know a big Irish stereotype is drinking (and amazingly enough, come to a family function on the Irish side of my family and the stereotype couldn't ring any truer; they really are nothing but a bunch of loud drunks), but it just gets kind of annoying that every single Irish festivity revolves around two things- getting shitfaced and being loud and annoying.
I always used to look forward to going down Wildwood every year for the Irish festival but now it is not fun anymore. It's just loud and obnoxious. I know I am a bore and am probably one of the last people on earth who does not find any fun in drinking, but I just don't see why Irish festivities automatically equals an excuse to get plastered. It's silly!
