There has been something I have been [ridiculously] avoiding since January and I finally forced myself to look at it. I feel like simulataneously crying because I am proud of myself for looking it in the face, and also because it saddens me. I still dread the day it could possibly go further, though. I have been through this before and I know the hurt will end, and that one day it will not matter, but it still isn't much consolation. Especially with as down on myself as I have been feeling.

Fucking OCD. I'm not a homicidal person, but man, if OCD was a real thing, I would murder it.
