The Awsome Of The Day

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Is this time of the year great or what? Pumpkin flavored stuff everywhere! Pumpkin flavored stuff as far as the eye can see!

On another note-  I had the apple pie Blizzard tonight. It was pretty awesome. It reminded me of the Edy's apple pie ice cream that for some unknown reason they no longer sell. It's still not the pumpkin pie Blizzard, though. Which better be the Blizzard of the Month next month and not just sold this month or I'll shank someone for missing it.

Random Thoughts

Ugh, I have been so damn horny the past few days. I don't know why, except that I am more than likely ovulating, judging by physical evidence. It's really bad, like if a hot guy were to tell me he wanted to have sex with him, all I can think of is 2 words- crushed pelvises. And guys with seriously weird hair seem to be really igniting my loins.

But thank god I am not having sex, because according to WebMD I am apparently at my highest fertility period right now. And we don't want to take any chances with that now, do we? Because we all know if I am not going through early menopause and/or having hormonal problems, that I am probably fertile as fuck, right? Sure I'd use protection, because I'd never have sex without battening down the hatches, but why take that risk?

Come to think of it, it has been more than a few days. I was super randy on vacation. The whole ride home I was about to lose my mind. Do you know how difficult it is to sit in a car for over 11 hours with your lady parts tingling?

I was about 127, 128* pounds when I got on the scale this morning. I am a very unhappy camper. I was 124, 125* pounds before I left for vacation. I am so bloated I want to scream. I don't understand why this bloating is not going away. When I get like this, I start to worry that I am going to be one of those cases I have read about on the internet in the past, where the person has bloating and weight gain and the doctors can't find any answer and the person continues to gain weight . I swear to God I will do myself in if that happens.

*the reason I put the range is because my scale is super ancient and has a needle and all it does is bob back and forth

I was super excited when iOS 8 was released the other day, because the last Apple update is murdering my battery, and I was all set to update my iPad, only to discover that I need about 4 point something GB of space to update and I don't even have a gig of space. I raged hard.

"Let Her Go" by Passenger popped up in my iTunes shuffle earlier. I can finally listen to that song without wanting to scream, since I no longer hear it 5,000 times a day.

The one thing I like about my favorite radio station is they generally don't overplay shit, but every so often they will get a song and kill the hell out of it. I am starting to grow a little tired of "Take Me To Church" by Hozier and "Riptide" by Vance Joy, two songs I do like but they constantly play and play and play and play. Also, some of the stuff they continue to play is questionable. Like enough with the stupid frat boy shit they play, like "Freshman" by the Verve or that annoying song about the car is in the front yard and he's sleeping with his clothes on (god that song makes me SEETHE). And for the love of God, enough with Oasis and Blink-182!

And then when they finally decide to play something other than "Kids" and "Time to Pretend" they choose something off of Oracular Spectacular! There are two other albums, folks! Then again, I tend to forget that most people dislike those brilliant albums.

And speaking of shuffle mixes and rage, how in the hell is it I hit shuffle on a playlist of almost 900 songs and I swear I hear the same ones over and over again? The hell, Apple?!

Earlier in work, 3 of my coworkers were out on a smoke break and my FWA had just come back from lunch (50 minutes) and asked me where they were out and I told her. She makes some comment that oh they seem to take a lot of smoke breaks anymore (as far as I know, they only take 2 while on the clock), oh but she got lectured about her pumping. I just looked at her. I haven't heard her do it in awhile, but apparently she still likes to play the oh everyone gets away with shit except for her card. Yeah. Okay. Whatever helps you sleep at night, honey.

"A Song Can Change Your Life" by Mark Masri just popped up on my shuffle list. Damn, I can't remember the last time I listened to that song. Probably 2010.

Yeah. Okay.

I imagine as a manager of an office, there are plenty of issues to worry about and take care of.

I guess this was a pertinent issue to my manager today:

Note: that "J" at the bottom was actually a smiley face when I received the email in work, making it all the more rage inducing.

Here is the deal- I don't make extra. I make coffee pretty much as soon as I get into work because not everyone is an anal retentive creature of habit who has to have their coffee close to lunch time. Whoever is having coffee- because it's more than just the 3 of us who drink it- has theirs and what she comes into is what I finish off at 11AM when it's my java time. It's not extra.

The fact that I actually had to receive an email about this....SMDH. And I have been there almost a year and suddenly now it is a problem?

Song Of The Day

I do like this song a lot, just still has a lot of bad memories attached to it:

Random Thoughts

Not that anyone cares, but my period ended the day of my last post.

So my long awaited vacation to Myrtle Beach is over now. So, how was my vacation? The good parts:

- it was not ungodly hot like usual
- I only got a mild case of sunburn on my back
- Ben & Jerry's
- I finally got the mint chocolate chip with hot fudge and wet walnuts sundae I have been dying for
- LOTS AND LOTS of good food
- I worked out every day but the day we drove down and the day we came home
- one morning I went to the gym and "Electric Feel" came on over the sound system
- one day "Amazing" by One Eskimo played over the sound system at the pool
- the night we ate at Liberty Steakhouse, I heard both "Time to Pretend" and "Kids"
- no miserable bitches from work ruined my vacation this time
- it was not crowded at all
- Ripley's Aquarium finally got sharks in their petting pool (and yes, I pet every single one but 2 that I couldn't reach)

And the bad parts:

- it rained a few days
- we discovered roaches in the room we were originally put in after about 2 days of being in there and we had to get all of our unpacked stuff together and move to a new room
- my brother-in-law got on my last nerve with his attitude
- no matter how much I love my nephew I definitely do not want kids after spending a week with him, although I still have an infinite amount more patience with him than my BIL
- I feel like a fat cow still from all of the bad eating
- all of the stores at Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing closed at 9
- I had 2 nights of insomnia, complete with at least 2 panic attacks one of those nights
- it's over

Also, we go to Cracker Barrel on Wednesday when we are down there and their seasonal dessert is carrot cake so of course I ordered a piece. I did not regret getting it.

Ugh, I hate being back from vacation. I still have a bad case of the post vacation depression blues, so here is a picture I took of a depressed looking snake at Alligator Adventure:

Random Thoughts

Got my period Monday. I am still bleeding. Yes, it doesn't sound like a big deal, but I don't normally bleed like this for this long. I am also exhausted, nauseous as hell, bloated, cramping, and having heart palpitations so of course I am convinced it's perimenopause and I am having an epic meltdown. And having these epic meltdowns is creating even more epic ones, because I start wondering if the reason I am having these epic meltdowns is because my hormones are going postal. All I can see is my period not going away any time soon. I think I will have the meltdown to end all meltdowns.

I had to spend the whole 8.5 hours in work trying to keep it together, but all I wanted to do was break down. I texted my sister at one point when I started to get to the point that I was going to come apart any moment and as expected, my text went unheeded. My mom told me I am being foolish earlier. Oh, but everyone cares about me, right? Oh, but my mom understand what I am going through, right? I am supposed to talk to these people? Yeah, okay.

Guess my impending vacation will be a real blast. Just like my trip down the shore in August, except at least this time work isn't a part of the ruination of it.

It's times like these I wish I would just get the guts to fucking do myself in already.

Random Thoughts

I am done with this fucking insomnia. And now I dread going to bed every night that I am going to have a bad night, which in turn probably causes me to have a bad night. Sunday night I could not fall asleep for anything. I tried Advil, then finally took an Ativan. I listened to "Siberian Breaks" a couple times, which helped me to relax, but I still couldn't fall asleep. I think I finally dozed off sometime around 3. Last night I think I did sleep, but I kept waking up.

I got pissed off in work yesterday when almost an hour went by and my FWA still wasn't back from her lunch break, so I sent my manager an email asking if I could talk to her. What did I get when I said something? "I'll check into it". Oh, I am sure you will. Because you don't approve our time sheets every week. Don't fucking patronize me, you poor excuse for a manager.

I have post nasal drip and I feel like crap. My throat is sore and irritated and my ears feel full and every time I swallow, they pop and crackle. My nose is running like a faucet.

I am tired of worrying about perimenopause and not knowing if I am in it or not. I am dreading my period ending because then my bladder will probably start bothering me again and the whole cycle of worrying about getting my period too early or too late will start again. I am already worrying it's going to stick around longer than it's supposed to.

You know what's sad? Since all of this started, I tell myself every month, if it comes on time, then I am going to try to let go of the fear. And then it comes and I just can't let go of it, because all I can think is, what if next month it doesn't come on time? What if this is the last time I see it and it never comes again? And I just feel like I am jinxing myself if I let it go.

Man, I am in a bad mood right now.

Random Thoughts

Damn, can't believe the 3 day weekend is over already. Now it's back to the grind.

So Thursday night, my insomnia seemed to not be as severe. Friday night I slept GREAT. Saturday- horrible. And last night was probably the worst bout of insomnia I have had this past week. I woke up at the usual 3:45AM- every single night I have had insomnia, I woke up at this time; don't know why, but I did- and did not fall asleep until somewhere close to 8. I took Advil at 5 to see if it would relax me. Nope. Finally at 7:30 I got up and choked down Nyquil. Man, did that make me feel weird after I took it. But I zonked out not too long after I took it and slept until 11:15. Woke up feeling like I was hungover as hell, though.

It came today, though, so maybe I will finally sleep tonight. Hopefully.

And over the whole weekend, I have been having nasty vertigo. Every time I look up, turn my head, roll over in bed.....the whole room moves. Not fun.

So summer is unofficially over now. Depressing. I feel like I barely got to do anything.

You ever have something happen and you don't give it much thought, then one day you think about it and you start to get really pissed off? I didn't think much of human resources calling me and asking me if I would be able to work from home when my doctor excused me from work....until my coworkers brought up something that I can't believe I, someone who is super paranoid and looks for hidden meaning in nearly EVERYTHING, missed- they were trying to trick me. And now that I think about it, I wouldn't put it past that miserable cunt Ms. Croquette to do something like that. I can't believe I was so oblivious to it. How fucking dare they.

Although I guess it's a good thing I didn't realize it at the time, because if I had realized it, I probably would have blown up twice as bad as I did and gotten my ass fired.

Last weekend, I took our work coffee pot home to clean, because apparently I am the only person in my office who believes in cleaning a coffee pot after making coffee. Since then, twice I seen my manager make coffee and come into work the next day with coffee still in the pot and the grounds still in the basket. Really? Is it that fucking hard to clean a coffee pot and basket? No, it's not.

Yes, my manager came back. She graced us with our presence last Monday. The Monday of the last week of the month, our most stressful time of the month. None of us can understand why if she was out due to stress she would pick then to come back. That is basically akin to finding out you're in remission from lung cancer and you celebrate by smoking a stogie.

Just like is it really that difficult for my FWA to eat at her desk and not get fucking crumbs everywhere. Or at least stop being such a lazy bitch and clean her desk up. Her keyboard is disgusting! The one who plays on her phone all of the time had to sit up front one day when my FWA- SHOCKER- left early and I heard her bitching about how disgusting it was. And she cleaned it. The next day I had to sit up front and it was a nasty mess again and the mouse pad had crumbs all over the place. She is such a nasty vile white trash pig. I can just imagine how disgustingly dirty and nasty her apartment is (and it looks it, too, just from the millions of pictures she posts online). And one day she was standing next to me and she smelled like mildew.

I finally took her off my FB newsfeed again because if I have to read one more damn time how she loves her baby to the moon and back I am going to scream. At least every other day she has to post "[baby's name] I love you to the moon and back". You love your baby girl- WE GET IT ALREADY.

Can you see why I love this man?
