Er....Like A Trainwreck?
I just finished the second book I checked out of the library, which was I, Michael Bennet by James Patterson and the ending.....I am disappoint, James Patterson. Or whoever actually wrote it. I really don't think he writes his books anymore. Not with the way they keep churning out. I can't even keep track of them anymore, of which ones I have read and haven't. I spent 10 minutes in the library the other day trying to remember if I actually read Eleventh Hour. And with the way they keep coming out, another Michael Bennet book better come out soon and that Perrine bastard dies.
Anyway, I am on my third book, which is Towelhead. And while it is an easy read, it's also difficult to read. There is an unbelievable amount of sex and masturbation talk, which you would think would not bother someone who is as sexually frustrated as I am, but it does, because I am not a fan of smut reading. Don't even get me started on that 50 Shades Of Shit shit, but let's just say I was not a fan of book burning until they came out. But the main character is 13 years old, and somehow she is smart when it comes to sex in some ways and completely stupid in others. Call me a prude, but I'd rather not read in-depth descriptions of masturbation, pubic hair, what happens when someone becomes turned on, and of a young man's erection. Unless I am reading a textbook on sexual topics, when proper anatomical terms are used.
I can't with sexual slang when it comes to the sexual anatomy. Either use the proper terminology or shut up. It's a penis and it's a vagina. Not a dick, pussy, cunt, or the absolute worst term I have ever seen in history, a mickey. I was reading a book one time and the usage of the word cunt to describe the main character's vagina annoyed me so much I finally stopped reading it.
And the most irritating part of the book is her parents. There such a thing as being strict, but good Lord her father is insane. And in one moment her mother is all nice to her, and in a split second she is putting her down. Almost every character in this book seems to be verbally abusive. This Amazon reviewer put it perfectly, minus the whole narcissistic personality disorder diagnonsense, because nowadays everyone has NPD, according to the internets:
I don't even want to finish it because it is so annoying, yet I really want to finish it. Go figure.

Both of Jasira's parents totally lack affect, (both of them?), human decency and basic kindness. They appear to be suffering from narcissistic personality disorders in their absorption with self, their sense of entitlement, lack of empathy and arrogance.Gee, those last 3 descriptions could describe me at times. Guess I have narcissistic personality disorder. *eye roll* Although....my last therapist asked me one time, "isn't that kind of narcissistic?". I don't recall why she asked me that. I think it might have been when I told her that a lot of times I don't care about other people's problems, but expect everyone to care about mine. I don't know how I ever got that mindset. It strikes me as odd for someone who loathes herself as much as I do that I do have times where I am a real narcissistic twat.
I don't even want to finish it because it is so annoying, yet I really want to finish it. Go figure.

Random Thoughts
I completely regret my last post. See what I mean? I have not felt good since Monday and I'll give you one guess what immediately popped into my head. I'm tired, nauseous, feeling very off balance, and am having mid-cycle bleeding. Now all I keep wondering is, what if this bad feeling gets worse? What if I jinxed myself bringing up Addison's the other day, that if I had it, it would more than likely be apparent? What if it is deciding to become apparent now, since I brought it up? What if I am jinxing myself just merely talking about right now? It's a never-ending cycle!
And thanks to not feeling good, it has me in a pretty foul mood this week. There was a story on the news on Tuesday about a man who openly admitted to having a favorite child. My sister had been over earlier in the day and as usual my mother was all over her and nagging on me, and it left me in a bad mood, so I said "well, at least some people are honest about having a favorite", although when I said it, I hadn't really meant it to be directed at my mother. I was just crabby and nitpicking everything in sight. But she immediately got mad and said "don't ever say anything like that again; I do not have a favorite". Any parent who is angry over this should shut the hell up, because I guarantee there are plenty of parents out there who have a favorite child. Just like there are probably plenty of parents who regret having children.
I have been off the wall the past few days. The stupidest things are sending me over the edge. My sister shot me a message the other day on Facebook asking me if I would want to go to dinner on Thursday and I burst into tears. Why? Because I immediately panicked at gaining weight. I don't know what is worse- obsessing that there is something wrong with me, or obsessing over gaining weight. It was nice when I wasn't so concerned about my weight. I'm just so afraid that if I just let loose a little too much, I'll lose all self-control and all the weight I lost will come back.
A few weeks ago, I was home alone and the phone rang and it was some strange name and number, so I didn't answer. When the answering machine came on, it was some lawfirm calling for my father about a disability claim. I was like huh? Apparently, my father decided to apply for SS disability, because someone told him that he would get more money than what he gets from retirement. Which is true. And my dad is in pretty shitty shape, although most of his problems are due to being fat. But he is retired. He is already not working. There is no reason for him to get SS disability when someone who has to work, but cannot, could be getting it. I was so fucking pissed off when I found this out. And thank god my sister completely agrees with me. Way to play the system, old man. Just like all the welfare abusers you bitch about.
I don't know how people can abuse government aid. I feel horribly guilty being on unemployment.
So it wasn't that bad when I went up to the library the other day. I did not feel like I was being judged. But, um....I think I have gotten the One Direction infection. The CD is really good. I mean, it's pretty generic pop, and several songs reminded me of other pop songs, but I enjoyed it. Aside from the 3 songs I already knew ("What Makes You Beautiful", "One Thing" and "More Than This"), I am really smitten with "Stole My Heart" and "Tell Me A Lie".
And since he has become a big topic over on ONTD and other sites due to his recent break-up, let's talk about Liam. I have said many times that I just think Harry is adorable. He is very squeeable, but it's completely nonsexual. It's not even just his age, it's his face. He is way too baby-faced for me to ever think about sexually. If you showed me a picture of Harry from the neck down*, I'd be fap fap fapping, but then show me his face and I'd immediately be turned off and be all OH GOD WHY. And Louis, the only one I don't feel bad thinking sexual thoughts about, is good looking in most pictures, but is such an insufferable queen it cancels out any of the hotness. And the more I see him, the less I will be shocked if he ever pops up on a magazine with the words "I AM GAY" in giant letters**. But Liam? He seems like a sweet kid. And he is clearly the best looking one in the group. Very, very good-looking, that boy is (I love that ONTD member; not sure if it's a male or female, although I am think the former, but whatever it is, he or she is hilarious when it comes to Liam). Another curly-headed beauty. In fact, forget getting a picture of Harry and Andrew together. Someone get Liam and Andrew in a picture together and OH GOD TOO MUCH BEAUTY.
*problem is, the boy apparently has 4 nipples, so I would know who it was even if I didn't see a face
**I need to stop making gay jokes at him, because I will feel really awful if he ever did come out

I am going through my Bookmarks list and I have a handful of links on Addison's disease and every time I highlight them to delete them, I can't bring myself to do it. It's been over a year. I think if I had it, it would be clear by now. But I still just cannot fully let it go.
I can't believe it has been almost a year since I lost my job. Where in the hell has the time gone? And it still hurts just as every bit as it did a year ago, possibly even more.

The Bitch Please/WTF/SHUT YOUR WHORE MOUTH Of The Day
Joe O’Connor: Trend of couples not having children just plain selfish
I couldn't bring myself to read the article. I went straight to the comments. Hey Joe, why don't you ask my next neighbor about the whole your children will take care of you when you are old? Ask Khalil Wimes what he thinks of this. Oh wait. You can't! Because his asshole parents who never should have reproduced in the first place killed him!
I want to kick this guy in the nuts. Repeatedly. I just can't ev....*starts sputtering*

Quote Of The Day
Don't know how I never used this before; from "Meet The Quagmires":
Peter: Death, that was totally worth it! It was even better than the time I stumbled into that fat, lonely women's club.A copy of One Direction's CD is finally available at the library for me to pick up. Much embarrassement will be felt when I finally decide to get off my fat ass and go pick it up.
[cutaway to Peter walking into the place he described. He holding a map, and announces for help]
Peter: Uh, 'scuse me, can I have directions to the provident Civic center?
Fat Ladies: Ooooooh!
[one of the ladies walks up to Peter]
Fat Lady: Do you like cake?
Peter: Yes.
Fat Lady: Do you like my ass?
Peter: Yes.
Fat Lady: Do you wanna eat cake off my ass?
Peter: What kind of cake?
Fat Lady: Angel Food Cake.
[Peter pulls out a fork]
Peter: Well, Rusty, it looks like we're gonna eat our way out of another jam.

Well, it's been an interesting weekend. Friday night, the group of us- me, my mom, sister, aunt, grandmom, my mom's friend and my aunt's friend- finally got together again and went to dinner. We went to the new Longhorn in Deptford. Where 99 used to be *sniffs*. You wouldn't even know it was a 99. God, I love Longhorn. And I had a REAL cheeseburger.
Saturday was just a WTF day. It was Irish Weekend down the shore and we usually go. My dad assumed we were going, but never said anything to anyone. And we ended up not going, due to that and due to my mom's car breaking down. My sister refused to offer up her car to go and my mother got mad at her, since they do nothing but drive her places all the time. I got the blunt end of her anger, that parents should be killed when they reach a certain age, and she wishes she could move far away so she doesn't have to deal with anyone anymore (really- do people still wonder why I am so fucked up in the head?). But I ended up just running to some stores, coming home, then running back out later. And having the fun of getting caught in a downpour.
Sunday we decided to go to down the shore for Irish Weekend. And thanks to the cold front moving in on Saturday, it was nice and cool out. It was a nice day overall.
ONTD put up a post on MGMT performing at the Joshua Light Show and I watched a little bit of it on Youtube, and it actually made me feel a little better about not going. Don't get me wrong, I still would have went had I gotten the chance. I honestly knew nothing about the Joshua Light Show, and I was far too lazy to research it, but the show was nothing like I expected. I thought they would be performing their usual songs, but they didn't. There was no singing. Just weird music. It was cool, I won't deny it, but it was one of those artsy shows I would have sat staring at in absolute horror and absolute fascination. I like weird things, but some things I just don't get.
I wonder why Andrew decided to grow his hair out again. I'm certainly not complaining, since he is about the only man I think can pull it off, but he kept it short for a long time. And it's odd to say about someone about to turn 30 years old in a few months, but he's getting so grown up looking! I still want someone to put him and Harry together in a picture so I can finally figure out why he reminds me of Andrew. That would make my day, to see them two together in a picture. Also, they share a birthday. February 1st was apparently a good day.
Picture #10.....dat ass.

I just read an article on ONTD about the Backstreet Boys doing an Old Navy commercial. I never thought I would ever hear anything about them again after they died off. I liked the Backstreet Boys back in the day. N Sync and 98 Degrees, too. I wasn't a huge boy band fanatic, but I did like them. I saw N Sync in concert 2 times. I always think I liked BSB better, though. My sister was the bigger N Sync fan. And even though I was only about 6, I was a huge New Kids On The Block fan, too. Had everything under the sun- posters, pins, dolls, shirts, towels, bedsheets, you name it.
And when I look at the girls today who love One Direction and stuff, it really isn't that much different. And at the same time, it's an entirely different world. Now we have social media. All the information I got on the boy bands of my day were through magazines, TVs, and books. Now fans can actually follow them on Twitter and everything. But the thing I wonder the most- did the fans of past boy bands act like the ones nowadays? I don't know, because we didn't have internet access and social media access like now. Were they as vicious? Did they rip apart members of the band, anyone acquainted with the band, significant others, nonfans, each other?
I honestly have never seen anything like One Direction and Justin Bieber fans. I don't which one is worse, although I'm leaning towards One Direction fans. I've come across some decent ones. I like a lot of the fans on ONTD. Some of their comments are hilarious, especially this one member who really REALLY likes Zayn. But these other ones....I don't understand how you can say you are a fan of a group, and then sit there and rip members of the group apart. No one says you have to like every member, but how can you say you are a fan and then hurl homophobic and/or racist insults or wish God would kill a member (yes, I have actually seen this)?
I probably shouldn't have laughed as hard as I did at that one Tweet in the link provided above that says "God please kill @Louis_Tomlinson for me". It really isn't funny.
And even the fans themselves are turning on each other. It's nuts. I read an article the other day about Louis (god, sad that I actually know all of their names) throwing a temper tantrum on Twitter about the whole Larry thing and I think he may have singled out one particular girl and now that girl supposedly is getting death threats from fans. What is wrong with these kids? I have never seen such hatred come from people like these kids. Except psychopaths. If I am having a bad case of feeling really batty, I just have to visit a 1D forum and I automatically feel sane again.
And look, I can't blame him for his frustration with some of the abuse he gets, but Louis is such a fucking drama queen. It honestly would not ever surprise me if he turned out to be the gay one. There is something about his mannerism, something I cannot put my finger on, that tells me to not ever be surprised if he comes out. And I know I am horribly stereotyping here, but he acts just like every bitchy gay guy I have ever been acquainted with. He needs to just stand there and look pretty, because frankly, he is the only one I can fantasize about sexually, even though he reminds me of something I would have walked into my first day of gym class in elementary school. He looks like a gym teacher. A female one!
I finally got to try Five Guys and honestly, I expected a lot more. Everyone I know raves like maniacs about their burgers, and I guess if you like fast food burgers, I could see how these would be considered OMG SO AWESOME. I generally don't like fast food burgers. Once in a while I might get one at BK, but generally I stick with chicken. It was good, but I still prefer burgers from places like Friday's and Longhorn. Those two are still the best bacon cheeseburgers I have ever had.
I bitched about going to that party on Saturday, but it ended up not being that bad (I still would have much rather have been in NYC, though). It was a gorgeous day and yes, there had been plenty of good food. Too many yellow jackets, though. And the most shocking part of the day was I wasn't the first one to start complaining that I wanted to go home. Generally I'm always the first one to start bitching that I want to go home.
My cousin's husband happened to mention at the party about his mancave. Ugh, I am so sick of that term! My brother-in-law has one. Practically every man seems to have one. And someone in this forum worded it perfectly: "The phrase "man cave" makes my skin crawl. It just brings to mind so many of the most irritating male stereotypes."

I loved this song back in the day. I used to see it on VH-1 a lot. Back when, like MTV, they played music videos and not trashy reality shows:

The Bitch, Please! Of The Day
The Cops Finally Take Away Amanda Bynes' Death Machine, Lindsay Delusionhan Is Not Impressed
You know what? I take back what I said about Amanda. For now. I'll give her a bit more time to see what stupid shit she may do before I decide to reinstate what I said. As for now, I'd like to see Amanda take out this dumb bitch and her stupid mother in one shot.
On another note, I was reading a Facebook thread on STFU Parents' page and boy, the mommies have themselves in an uproar over another member who had a migraine one time and she asked a woman to quiet her kids. It's hard to control a crying child! You wait until you are a parent! Wah! Wah! Wah! I'm not the most rational person, but if I had a migraine and a child was screaming and Mommy ain't doing anything about it, I'd be flipping out too. The comments that are killing me the most are the ones that this young woman's migraines aren't other people's problems. Well, the fact that you can't control your child isn't my problem. If I showed even the slightest hint of a tantrum, my mom grabbed my arm and took me outside. I'm so tired of hearing parents whine about parenthood. You chose to be a parent! Deal with what comes along with it!
I was born 8 days early. I must have been in a rush to get into the world to get out faster.
