Comment Of The Day

Wow. What was it the Robot Devil said? Ah yes! That was pretty brutal even by my standards! Although, to be fair, I could think of something a lot nastier to say than not wearing a condom. I'll give you a hint- it has nothing to do with condoms and everything to do with abortion.

When I read through the comments, I see plenty of examples of parents who made the mistake of not wearing condoms. Why in the hell are 99% of these people even allowed to be watching this show?! And I don't know what is worse- the nasty comments towards Mike or the ones that go "omg why do u losers like hiz page if all your gonna do iz hate?!!!! Get a life losers!". While I agree in questioning liking his page if all you are going to do is use derogatory terms, never EVER call someone else a loser or tell them to get a life if the Situation is your idol. Yes, people actually tell him that he is their idol. Or Snookie is. Whenever I read those comments, all I can think is, if I had a gun, I would blow my fucking brains out right this second. Or the other comments are along the lines of oh while we're all hating he's out there making money and laughing all the way to the bank. Big. Fucking. Deal. I would rather kill myself than do any of the crap he does. But then again, what doesn't do that? Simply looking in the mirror makes me want to kill myself.

For God's sakes, people. This is the future of this country?! FUCK!!!!!!! It's enough to make me want to go slam my head into a heavy wall! I swear to God, I think about suicide every single day of my life and I am starting to truly believe I need to just act on it, because judging by the way things are going, I don't see this dumbing down of America getting any better.

9:41PM: I just noticed his usage of the word "your" instead of "you're". AGAIN.

Another Angry Letter To The Weather Channel

Dear Weather Channel:

I love you. I have loved you since I was little, which in that sense tells me I should probably be a metereologist. I watch you at least twice a day and am on your website several times a day. I single handedly could have crashed both of these mediums on the weekend of Hurricane Irene.

Look, I understand you want to get people to PAY ATTENTION when weather warnings are issued. After all, surely not paying attention probably accounts for a lot of weather related deaths, doesn't it? But please, for the love of all that is holy, get rid of that annoying bleeping at the beginning of a warning when it is coming across the bottom of the TV screen!

On another note- did I hear Sublime playing during a local forecast report?

Sincerely,
A huge fan

Video Of The Day

Radio 104.5 is the first place I ever heard this song and it was always one of those songs I would never say I disliked, but was just kind of meh on. And then one time it came on and I don't know what it was about that particular moment that I finally came to appreciate it:

And now that I think about it wasn't even until further in the song, when the male solo vocal starts, when I finally realized just how truly great this song is:

As it withers
Brittle it shakes
Can you whisper
As it crumbles and breaks
As you shiver
Count up all your mistakes
Pair of forgivers
Let go before it's too late
Can you whisper

Random Thoughts

Now that I can finally get around to explaining those two posts with the Super Fuuu guy pictures. The first one was after having to stay over an hour after my shift ended waiting for three files to be prepped (a job that should take 20 minutes at the most). The second one was obviously in response to finding out my job was being terminated and in response to my teeth bothering me.

So yeah, I am losing my job. We had a meeting and I had a feeling when the meeting was first mentioned that it was not going to be good news. Generally not many meetings in our office involve as many people as were emailed about it. That was the big tip off to me. As soon as the head honcho mentioned that most of the work that is normally done in our place was going to be done somewhere else, I immediately knew my job was going to be one of those jobs. I was sick to my stomach. All I could think while I was sitting there was, I can't believe this, I am losing my job.

I am not going to deny that a small part of me is a little relieved. But losing a job in this economy and after finally feeling like you are a little back on your feet again is a huge blow. There was a lot I hated about it, although I'd say 99% of the hatred was all of the drama in the office, but I didn't mind my actual job all that much (it was just a little boring at times) and I thought the company was a pretty decent place to work for. I was offered a position at the other place, but I can't do that commute. It would not be worth it, between gas, tolls, wear and tear, and what I get paid.

And the thing that made me the most sick (talk about screwed up priorities) was when I realized unless by some miracle he appears before I leave, I am never going to get to see MGG again. I felt like my heart was literally going to burst when I realized that. I cried instead. I cried a lot that day. I cried that I was losing my job. I cried seeing other people cried. I cried over never possibly seeing MGG again. I cried because I didn't feel good. And then the whole damn dam burst open in my head and a million other things flooded into my head and I cried over them too.

I went to the doctors tonight, which I didn't see my normal doctor and did not care very much for the doctor I saw. The whole visit has me in a Super Fuuu mood so I am not going to discuss it right now (a Super Fuuu mood, as I have named it, is when I am so angry over something that discussing it is just not wise unless I want to wind up either in a psychiatric facility again or in a regular hospital after having a heart attack or stroke, both of which I am surprised I have not had yet). Apparently I have benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, though.

Quote Of The Day

From "Crimes Of The Hot":
Amy: Professor Farnsworth, you're a scientist!
Farnsworth: Forget it, I'm not going! I have my reasons! Shut up, all of you!
Hermes
: Strange. You haven't acted this suspicious since I found those "ape bones" in the basement.
Farnsworth: My hip hurts! I'm in the middle of cooking a turkey! I have warranty cards to fill out! I am not just making excuses! Alright, I'll go!

Stupid Mouth

Good god my mouth tastes bad. I apparently had two cavities and had the one filled today. All I keep smelling is the god awful "drilling of my teeth" smell and it's making me want to vomit. My anxiety is also up and will be so the next few days over developing some kind of infection (I was told by a cardiologist years ago that I had a heart murmur and when the dentist found out, I was required to be checked out by a doctor before I could come back. I had an ultrasound done that ruled out having a murmur, but whether or not I have one, I don't know. But it makes me nervous going to the dentist now). And now I have to do it all over again on Thursday.

FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU Part II

I'm losing my job.

Also, in addition to those symptoms I bitched about before, my upper left gum is swollen and a tooth that has been bothering me for years on the bottom is bothering me again, and now I have a nasty taste in my mouth, so I got an appointment with the dentist tomorrow. Might as well take care of whatever it is before I lose my insurance. If this is my one single wisdom tooth finally deciding to give me trouble (if it's on the upper left; still can't remember), well then.....
