Peter's call out of work excuse from "Mr. Griffin Goes To Washington":
Mr. Weed? It's Peter Griffin. I can't come to work today. I was in a terrible plane crash. My entire family was killed and I am a vegetable. I'll see you tomorrow.
Whether that is the correct quote or not is beyond me. Finding exact quotes on the internet when you do not have the actual episode in front of you is almost impossible. Anyway, that is a brilliant excuse, although not as brilliant as his response when he is caught by Mr. Weed:
Oh, yeah, yeah, that plane crash I told you about? It turned out to be gas.
